I'd rather give blood then get a flu shot. Any shot in the muscle is painful in my book.......eeek, your sore for days.... But whats worse is when you go to the GYN and get your finger pricked.......HATE THAT !!!!

I'm with Leenie. When they prick my finger I need to take the rest of the day off to recover!

It's been pure-T h*ll around here today. I had to leave work at 1:45 not to return until tomorrow. Once again the babysitter has done it to me, no kiss first, no thank you afterwards. Of course, when I call my boss to tell her the news, she gets a liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittle upset, and has my BIG boss call me back. This is unacceptable, yadda, yadda, yadda. And I'll be receiving a copy of my write up tomorrow morning. Sigh, such is life. When do you have to say, my kid is more important than this stupid job!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, rant over. Going to fix dinner and then bath and off to bed. Talk to you later!

Now I have to put in my 2 cents worth. Deb, I bet that son of yours is planning a wild party (or to have his girlfriend over) while you're away. His excuse for not coming to Florida with you sounds pretty lame to me. Sorry, I guess that's not what you want to hear. Anyhow, whenever a Thanksgiving dinner is prepared somebody has to travel to it. If everybody only ate Thanksgiving dinner at their own homes, there'd be a lot of turkey going to waste.
Sheesh, now everybody's going to be mad at me. Oh well, nobody reads my posts anyhow.

I have to agree with what is said. when you were young your dinner was spend with family. ther is not many more chances to do that. their health is not the best. (sorry to be so blunt) and he should not deny a chance to gather around the table with family. the meal is made wonderful by the family around them not location....!!

Hey DebKay! If it were me I would find out WHY your son felt that way. Could he have some new panic/anxiety phobia about leaving home/dying/etc? Could he be depressed and feeling like he needs to be at home with his family, in familiar surroundings? I have had these feelings in the past.

On the lighter side,also in the past, I have had new boyfriends I didn't want to leave, and parties to be had! Silly me, had parties one week and threw the trash bags full of beer cans in MY TRASH CANS ON THE CARPORT. How dumb could I have been. Dad saw the ole silver bullets shining through the bags, dumped them and counted! Whewee, was I in trouble.

Stress Test Recap;
Did well, made it to the end, they cut me off because there was no change in the EKG. Thank goodness for the nice EKG tech that pressed on my back at the end. She kept me moving when I felt I couldn't go much more. I am in the 'D Cup or Above' category so I have to go back tomorrow so they can pump me full of more dye and finish looking at my heart. Also, I weigh more than 190 pounds at 5'7...but I prefer to brag about the boobs versus the general weight! He said all looks fine on the EKG and it is very slim that I will have problems with the Cardiolite imaging. He says chest pains could be stress or chest wall pain, or spasms in my artery, all of which wouldn't cause a heart attack.

Dyan, I haven't gotten a flu shot in years, but I think I might ask for one this year. Everybody at work seems to get sick lately and pass it around, so I need to be careful. How do you feel? My parents always feel fine, but my brother swears he gets the flu when he has one!

Cody got his orange belt in Tae Kwon Do tonite.

I guess that is all!

PS..Ruth, put that hand down!
