Hi everyone! The foot looks like an eggplant now, same shape, same colors of purple and green. Hurts like the very dickens and how everyone laughed when I told them how it happened!

Had a hectic catch up day at work today, was behind on reports and deadlines all day, having a very hard time getting out of vacation mode. I put away a little money today for the next chick meet, and I absolutely CANNOT wait!! Hope every one of us is able to go!

Off to fix dinner, wonder what I should have? Had a great steak for lunch, no potato cause I was too too bad all weekend. Strictly induction again, when will I ever STOP doing induction??

OUCH on those toes Sherry!

Today was reality day after a wonderful weekend! I spent all of the morning and most of the afternoon scrubbing the house down. The guys did not really leave it messy or cluttered it was just dirty...you know, the bathroom thing? The boys have been pretty darn snuggly since I returned!

Jiff is on the phone so I this is a quicky!

ok, I am back for more...anyway, I cleaned while dh spent most of the day with mom organizing and doing her bills taking her here and there and gathering the important "stuff". I think we may have it worked out so that it is managable for everyone....well except for my brother, wait till he finds out that I am going to be the executor of mom's estate...hahahahahahahahaha!!!! At least Jiff came up with a reasonably sensible and polite answer...mine was let's see....ummmmm rather colorful!!! tra la tra la tra la!

hey, my FIRST answer was no prize, either!!!

so glad this day is over. i desperately need to see the chiropractor.

and there's this whiny young lady at work, let's call her M. she's a friend of the family of the company's owner, and a graduate from an ivy league college. you'd think she'd know something, wouldn't you??? no!!! and she's arrogant with a superior attitude, and because of the politics, our hands are pretty much tied.

so, what happens/???? i'm supposed to assign her projects!!! she turned in an absolutely horrible assignment a couple of weeks ago, and now, i've recruited an editor to help shape M up!!! we had our firstmeeting today, and M showed up without paper and pen to take notes. and without the earlier work that she had done so that we could discuss it.

and she's still sullen and sulky and resentful because how DARE i criticize her!!!! i had a discussion with my boss, and she, good soul that she is, told M that she had to suck it up, that she had a lot to learn, and that she'd better change her attitude and learn it from the editor and me. of course, she was MUCH more tactful than that.

and a long discussion about the puntuation after each item in a bulleted list. yeah, most of you don't even notice that kind of stuff. and i wish i didn't, but since people actually want me to sign off on stuff, i HAVE to take a stand on it.

and sherrie's toes are broken, and people are having marital problems, and loved ones are ill, and what am i focusing my time on??? SMALL CAPITAL LETTERS AND PUNCTUATION!!!! reality check please!!!! made out to CASH and for a large amount!!!
