Default Independence Day Challenge #5

So, OK. It's not Monday. It's been a busy week.

However, the new gym is paying off. I'm down 2 lbs! That takes care of the last of the 4 pounds I gained in the beginning of this challenge. Now to lose the remaining 30 lbs!

I've got the water under control. Drinking lots! I've been exercising at least 25 minutes a day since Saturday (LOVE the new gym).

Now if I could just control the cravings for refined carbs (PMS is a *itch!).

How are the rest of you ladies doing?

212 to start - 204.5 thius morning! 5 pounds to ditch and I'll be there below 200 for the first time since the 1980's!

I am getting lots of exercise with gardening but am still not drinking enough water - pretty dumb at thios time of year.

You are doing well, Jo. I'm glad to see exercise is working for you.

OK...I have lost 4 lbs since April...in 7 weeks...that is just sick!

Ruthxxx - Excellent job! You are an inspiritation, girlfriend!

Liz321 - I've only lost four pounds, too. So don't be belittling it! That's four pounds we don't have to try to lose again!

Leens - Staying the same is still better than gaining! That means you're doing something right. Keep up the work and check in for any support you need. We all want to reach our Independence Day goals -- and ultimately our final goals. Together we can do this!

There. How was my imitation of a cheeleader? I'm honestly jumping here for you! Can't you see me trying to do a split?!?

Just so you didn't think I was skipping this week -- TOM came to visit on Sunday afternoon and I refuse to step on the scale to he vamooses!

Will advise ASAP.

It has been a while since I jumped on this thread. Went to weigh in today and lost 2.1 pounds, 11 since the challenge started in April and 31.2 total since Jan. 31st.

I'll take it!

Thanks for doing this Jo...it was nice to look for this thread and realize that I HAVE made some progress! It was good to look back!
