Not much else planned. Going to go check out the YMCA today and see if they have enough "kid" stuff to make it worthwhile. SInce my kids have a nanny they don't get around other kids much, I think it would be good. Not to mention I need to EXCERCISE!!!!!!

Happy 5th Day of Christmas - 5 golden rings in my house are pee puddles!

My morning routine has sure changed with these babies around! Hershey goes out for a quick pee on her own while I greet the pups and clean up the night's contributions. The coffee gets started while I mop the floor with Pinesol and set the pen up again. Hersh comes in and plays with pups while I get 3 breckiies ready for them. Pups go back into the pen with breckies, Hersh has hers at the same time. I drink coffee. Hersh and I go out to the meadow for a bit - deep snow! Back in - pups are let out and eat the snow off Hershey for a while. I mop the floor from the snow melt. Pups poo and pee. I mop the floor. DH gets up and asks where his breakfast is!

Anyhow, right now I am going for a long bath with another coffee - the first one got cold.

Today I will concentrate on drinking water. It is so nice to get back to healthy eating again. I have an UNOPENED box of LAura Secord French Crisps which I am not opening until my birthday!

Have a good weekend.

Default Good morning!

Scooby, I hope the Y turns out to be a good thing for you. We went to the local one here when I was a child, it was a blast!

Ruth, I admire you. All that mopping, those babies would be OUT of my house! Have fun with them and remember: eventually, they do get house-trained!

I'm off to shop til I drop today, and have to stock up on L/C goodies because it's time to buckle down again! Going to see baby sis and my new nephew and I can't even touch him because I'm scared I'll infect him. Wahhhhhhhhhhh!

Have a great day, everyone!

Default Good Morning!!

Good Morning ladies! MMMMMM,this coffee tastes good.
I had a good day yesterday.portions of meat may have been on the higher side, but I think I was still ok.I had 5 or 6 oz ham for breakfast,5 oz.of steamed fish for lunch with green beans and a ground chicken pattie with green beans & fat free cheddar sprinkled on them for dinner.
I have had problems with my left hip off & on for a while & I think I re-pulled that muscle with my tae bo,so I guess I'll kick with only my right leg now.
I was outdoors undecorating my tree out in my yard for about 1 1/2 hrs. Then I left at 5 pm & was shopping from then till 8:30 pm.So,I must have gotten enough exercise yesterday, don't you think?
Hope you're all having a good day.
Ruthxxx, you certainly are getting a workout with your furry friends! They sound adorable.
Scooby2,The y is so great if your hours or schedule fits with their time schedule.I absolutely LOVED the water exercise classes there, but I work second shift and the hours that they had the classes clashed too much with my schedule. They were too early in the morning or while I was at work. And the open swim was always afternoon & evenings.
Have a good day everybody!

Baylee, Scooby, Ruthie, Goodforme, and all those to come:
Happy Weekend!!!!

Ruth, when we moved in to this new house, our pup (about 4 mos now) needed to poop in every room in the house! There were dogs here before us and she needed to mark I think. I hear ya about the new schedule! But, they are so sweet, furry and adorable, huh?

Scoob, let us know how that Y is!

Goodforme, have fun with that little bundle of joy!

Baylee, I love Tae-Bo! I hope your hip start feeling better.

Not much planned for the weekend here. We are doing some grocery shopping today and heading to our local Costco (warehouse groceries).

I hope everyone has a GREAT day! Smile!

Talking HAPPY SATURDAY !!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful relaxing weekend after all the holiday "stuff". DH had a meeting so I am enjoying a couple quiet hours. I really should be doing some deep cleaning and laundry but just not into it today. So, straightening up will have to do. I want to sit down and read my book!!! DS and DH reluctantly got me "Crossing Over" by John Edward. Can't wait to dive into it but I know that when I do I won't stop until I've finished it cover to cover, so best to wait until I can do that uninterrupted!

To anyone who received an e-mail virus warning from me---My apologies !! I feel so stupid! I should've checked my McAfee first-but no! I was too paranoid after having a virus a couple months ago that I just blindly followed ! It's a hoax (as a few good friends pointed out!)

So nice getting to know so many new faces! I hope you all just jump right in all over - ask questions, offer opinions, knowledge and friendship! I've come to know this as one of the friendliest and most knowledgeable bunch of chicks from any LC site that I've visited!

And Pooky! You sure sound ready to do some butt kickin' girl!

Ruth-Sounds like those puppies are as much work as a set of twins! Bet Hershey is glad you're there to help her! lol

liz--Good luck with the ski outfit! Sounds like fun!

jenniwookie--Hey, want my grocery list? Pleeeeease? I hate to shop!

Scooby--I wish we had a Y close to us! Enjoy your family visit!

Tip--How's the shoulder?

Baylee--Wow! Sounds like you're doing great! And I vote that walking (while shopping) and bending and stretching (undecorating the tree) opts as exercise for the day!

Good4me--Hope you're feeling better! Heavy duty LC shopping is on my list for Wednesday !!

Hey to all to come!

I'd better run as I want to check out some other threads! All this enthusiasm is definately contagious! And that's one thing I definately need to rub off on me!

Have a wonderful day all!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SUE !!

Talking

finally, the weekend!

Yea!

Janice, I must have just missed you! Glad to see you back, I am just getting it together myself and have been more OP for the past 2 or 3 days.

Had a nice dinner with "the girls" last night- ate too much, but had fun. It is easy to go light today, I was really stuffed, but it was mostly OP- steak and salad and shrimp-yum! DId indulge in a nice adult beverage, but it was Friday night, practically an emergency! LOL

But my sister's FIL died last night- we were expecting it, and it was an easy, natural death...the family knew and were prepared and it was just as simple as could be, he died at home, gently. But the viewings and services are being squeezed in today and tomorrow and burial Monday, so the weekend filled up quickly. I will have my neice with me most of the weekend, so my sis and hubbie can be at the wake. Not the relaxing weekend I had planned, but who do you complain to? I don't mind babysitting, and I'm close to the family, so will be with them alot.

Not much else new. Just some cleaning up here, laundry in, and making a leg of lamb for dinner tonight. Roast a few potatoes for DH, and some salad for me. Maybe some sf jello if I can make the effort- lazy or what?

have a good one,
dottie

Hey Dottie! I'm sorry for your family loss. But also glad that it was a peaceful passing over and that family was prepared. I pray that knowing he is in a better place offers some comfort. I've missed you Dottie. I know how close you are to "ground zero" both personally and professionally and have been worried about you and Casey. Hugs and warm fuzzies being sent both of your way daily. So glad that you are back!

Toni--Welcome back girl! It's been awhile! I'm going (not planning) on being strictly LC OP again as of January 2! I know myself well enough to know that is more realistic for me than planning on sooner. Tho I will admit that I'm doing as many OP days as I can between now and then. Really good to see you again!

I am so hooked on John Edward. I swear my mom has a bit of "ability" so I have always been a bit interested yet skeptical--but not so with John. I was really shocked that DH/DS gave me the book as they laugh at me each morning at 10 a.m. when I'm watching his show! I figure that I believe in God, a better place and friends or/and family being there to greet us, so, what's John offering but perhaps a bit of insight? Hooked----yep, that's me! lol

Have a great one all!

J

Hi all,

Ran a bunch of errands today. Left the house at 10:30 AM and didn't get home till after 5:00! At least everything is done now. I think!

I love John Edwards too. I watch his show on SciFi at 10:00. My MIL saw him in New Orleans. No one came through for her but she said she believes even more than she already did. A lot of people think he's a fake but I don't think so. I'm going to ask DH to get me his book for my birthday.

Liz - If you're following Atkins (esp during induction) don't worry about how much you're eating. I was so hungry today that for lunch I ate 2 8 oz burger patties. I feel guilty & I must admit my jeans did feel a little tight afterwards, but it's legal.

Ruth - Bet you can't wait to get the pup house broken!

Sheri - Feel better

Dottie - My condolences to you sister's family

Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Jennifer

Default Our John Edward fan club!

I'm a big fan of John Edwards too!I watch him every morning at 10 o'clock and every night at 10 o'clock. He's on the Fox channel in the morning here, and on the sci fi channel at night.
I bought 3 books by him about a month ago,and I'm reading "ONE LAST TIME" right now,and I also bought "CROSSING OVER" and I can't remember the name of the other one,and you know,I can't find it now.
Don't know what could have happened to them.Must have misplaced them.I've looked in all the obvious places.DARN IT!!

I've had a bad day today. All I wanted to do is eat.but I ate legal stuff.Just lots of it.Boredom.That's my problem.I'm almost glad that I'll be going back to work next week.
Maybe tomorrow will be better.See ya later! Baylee

Tomorrow is always better! Night, everyone!

Pups are tucked in, DH is tucked in and Hershey and I are ready to snuggle. (Did I ever tell you that I am into inter-species Lesbian dating in my old age? ) JUST KIDDING!

Have had 4 bottles again today and I'm just about to go and snag my 5th out of the fridge now.
