I'd suggest checking out Marshall's which usually has designer stuff but at low prices. I've found that Wacoal and Natori are excellent (I'm a 38 DD myself and have suffered through many bad bras before I found these two that I liked very much). At a department store, you'll pay about 50-60 dollars for each one. However, at Marshall's I saw the same bra I bought for 55 on sale for about 10!! I also think Olga bras are good, as are Warners and Calvin Klein. One of the reasons I also recommend Calvin Klein is because they also tend to make very nice matching panties and you can usually get a set of bra + panties for about 15 bucks at a place like Marshall's.

Hmmm, I don't mean to sound like an advertisement, but in dealing with my roller coaster of weight loss and gain, I've found that it's a good place to buy decent things cheaply.

Good luck on your search. A good bra is as amazing as a bad bra is miserable.

I just wanted to let everyone know I found a great bra at JC Penney! It is the Vanity Fair Beautiful Benefits Full Figure Bra. I went the day after thanksgiving (not early) when ALL of their bras were half off! It is normally $32 which isn't bad either, but you can't beat a $16 bra!

By far it is the most comfortable AND beautiful bra I've ever owned (okay maybe i've had prettier bras but they were not supportive). It has 3 little rhinestones in the middle and lace on the sides. JC Penney's almost always has something on sale and coupons so it should always be pretty affordable. I am considering buying one in each color. lol
