15 minute Stairmaster warmup 60 minutes shoulders, bicep & tricep 45 minute spin class, straight up spin Monday, June 24: Ran through a historic town on the CT River, starting off the porch of a 200-year-old inn, in empty streets, running past sea captain's houses, each bearing a little round nameplate with the name of their original owner and the date when they were built. Passed other runners, very friendly, and dog-walkers, and on one lawn, an enormous doe who was holding up her foreleg, as if it were badly lamed, bounding along on three legs. She ran better on three legs than I do on two. |
