15 minutes Stairmaster step mill, aerobic, resistance at eight
60 minutes shoulders, biceps & triceps routine
45 minute spin class, which I've decided is one of the best ones because there is no playing around with light weights -- which, frankly, I do not need after an hour of upper-body work.
45 minute spin class with weight intervals
60 minutes circuit training class in the evening, having the most trouble as usual with wood choppers, also this thing where we balanced on a bosu with our feet in the air & passed a small heavy ball around our legs in a figure-eight movement. But what I'm good at is locust pose. I can lift my chest way up high in the air. I think this has something to do with my back muscles. I am also slightly swaybacked, which may help.

-Went to the Dutchess County Fair. No exercise unless you count standing all day, which wore me out!
Sunday, Aug. 26 -
-3.1 mile walk with my mom and a friend. Pretty slow pace. Ran into a neighbor and talked for a while.
Monday, Aug. 27 -
-Upper body lifting routine, felt GREAT to be back at it. Didn't lose strength in my 5 days off!
-12 min of sprint intervals on treadmill
-3 min on stair stepper before I almost died
15 minutes Stairmaster step mill, resistance at eight, aerobic intervals
60 minutes chest and triceps, with the small of my back still feeling tender. This is what I get for showing off in the Locust Pose last night: A sore lower back.
60 minute spin class with weight intervals, and me feeling really not up to it and wiped out, with my back giving me twinges.
These days with gym in the morning & gym in the evening may not be such a good idea.
45 minute spin class, and I ditched the weights and just upped the resistance and peddled hard, as I didn't want to work my upper body for the fourth day in a row.
August 28: 70 minutes UJam class-- love that the instructor gave us some extra songs and went 70 instead of 60 minutes because the next class wasn't starting right away.
60 minutes elliptical, random intervals, resistance at eight, alternating 15 minutes backward & then forward
60 minutes Pilates class, with the usual agony and ecstasy

August 29: 60 minute walk with a friend. Didn't feel anything then but now my ankle feels like it is sprained. I find that ironic that I do heavy exercise and nothing happens but when I walk I get injured! Hope it feels better later as I want to do yoga today.
Thursday, Aug 30:
-About 50 kettlebell swings with 35 lb kettlebell, 20 windmills on each side w/15 lb kettlebell, 40 lunges holding 2 10# KB in each hand
-20 minute HIIT sprints on elliptical
