I am so sorry to hear about your son! I can't imagine what you are experiencing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May God give you the strength you need.
Well, it's working. On April 13, I started back on my weight loss eating plan because I had gained 13 lbs since about Christmas time and just couldn't get them to go away. It hasn't been easy, but it's been working. As of this morning, I have lost 7.9 lbs. I am very pleased, but I also know that I've still got a ways to go, so I'm sticking with it. I am eating exactly what I was to eat when I was on my weight loss program. I am hungry, don't kid yourself, but I am sticking with it. I continue to plan on eating like this until August anticipating it getting harder and harder to get the weight off. My initial goal is to get back to 177; then I might just keep on going...170, 165, 160. I'm not sure.
I really really really want a chocolate chip cookie, though, so I have to keep reminding myself that I'll get one some day when I can handle it, but it won't be a daily treat.
Heavenly Father ~ we come to you today asking Your presence be felt in Shanna and her family as they endure the tradgedy of their lost son and brother today. We ask for peace and comfort for them in the way only You can give. In Your Son's Name and Glory....Amen
Thank you all so much for your kind words and thoughts and prayers! We'll get through this, with the Lord's help. The memorial is next Wednesday. EZmoney, I especially want to thank you for the touching prayer. We have hundreds of people praying for us, and I know that's the only thing getting us through.
I've been working so hard to get under 130 - this morning I was at 129 and didn't even care. I did manage to eat a bit today. We have a ton of love and support, and more food than we could eat in a year. lol. I know people just want to do something to help. It's very sweet.
