Feeling much better this afternoon!!!

I have my menu plan for the week, I'm looking forward to my exercise days, and I have no wine in the house. I think it will be a perfect week!!!

I simply cannot imagine being too sick for coffee.

Terrible weekend and I don't mind too much. I'll wind it up tomorrow (my week of evening shift) and be better.

Hi!

Meg, the food included fruit salad, with a yogurt dressing on the side, a large green salad, already dressed , falafel with a tahini dipping sauce, rice with some sort of seasoning, but not oily (as I'd feared), chicken breast in a sauce with walnuts/pecans, and lamb in a sauce that included poached pears! All was tasted - and tasty. I had just a little rice, 1/3 of a chicken breast, and 2 small "chunks" of lamb. Lots of fruit (no dressing) and just a taste of the salad. I did have one falafel - not terrific. Flavor was all in the dipping sauce. A glass of wine, and a little champagne. DH ate my cake!

It's been raining here for days. It stopped a little this afternoon and I was able to get out and pick a couple quarts of raspberries, which are now mostly in the freezer. (Which is to say most of them are there, with some left out to eat)
