Shy, the wind really has bee awful!!! There were times on the way home after I dropped my friends off that I honestly couldn't see more the 10 feet in front of the van. Schools here are already on 2-hr. delays for morning. I'll be surprised if they don't end up cancelling.

They don't delay around here. They don't cancel around here lol. I have kept my kids home because I couldn't see the road from my house and yet they still had school. We are crazy out here in the country lol.

I think raking leaves is harder than shoveling snow. The snow just comes up and you toss it lol. The leaves involve grass and heat and sweat. I would rather do the snow lol.

Shy, I can't believe they don't cancel school! What's wrong with them?? Some of the back roads are downright dangerous in this kind of weather, and I know that's why the schools here were delayed or cancelled. We live in a rural area in Darke County.

When I didn't have health problems, I didn't mind doing the leaves or shoveling the snow unless it was that really heavy snow. That was a pain!!

They never canceled school when I was a kid lol. I lived 1/2 from town 45 min from the school. There was a joke, the schools only closed if the superintendent fell on his but walking out his front door.

Tim and I went to Christmas Eve services at church last night. Very nice. Not as many there as usual which surprised me since the weather was much better than other years. Hubby stayed home with the dog.

We are leaving in the morning for Frankenmuth, Michigan for a couple of nights. We've done that different times between Christmas and New Years, and we always have a good time. We hit all the little shops and the outlet mall. Our hotel has a whirlpool, so I plan to hit that!!

Hope you all have a very Merry Christmas today!!!
