Talking Thursday

Still don't have my computer back At least they can repair it!

Not much news here, I think I am down another pound but sure would like to see 2 on my WI.

With the heat we really don't want a huge amount of food. Been grilling out a lot and making crockpot food. I have cut down on my carbs a bit to try and speed up some loss.

Anyone still exercising? I am still doing my Sansone Walking Diet but only doing about 3-6 miles/week. I still walk my Doberman about 1/4 mile at night but just too warm most nights to go any further. Need to get back on track with the walking, I was up to 9miles/wk.

Have a great OP day.....

Hi
I finally got back on track this morning with exercise. I did my 1 mile jog tape plus it has a lower body workout after. Then tonight I'm either going to ride my bike or do yoga walk. I'm doing good with food as well. I'm re-reading Bob Greene's book, body makeover and will incorporate some of the strength training to my routine. I'm feeling good and ready to release some poundage.

I did much better yesterday. I stayed away from the comfort foods, so that is a plus! Stress is abating a little bit, so that is good as well. Now if I can just get back to sleeping at night.......

I made it a point to have protein with my breakfast. What a huge difference it made with my hunger level. DUH! Isn't that what is wriiten in all the "diet" books??? I am a little slow at times.... So today is going well so far. Pushing my water, food on target. Just gotta stick with it.

Phyllis, the walking is really important. Try to push for those extra steps/miles each day/week. You are doing so great!!! I am really proud of all you are accomplishing!

Cathy - you sound so upbeat! Good for you! Take that energy and use it to accomplish lots for yourself!

Stay OP and push the water!!
