Default Wednesday~

Hi everyone. Just checking in. It has been a long week with late nights. My Grampa had a massive stroke last Thursday and passed away last night. He was in his mid 80's and lived a full life and we can only rejoice he has gone Home. It is so hard not to be selfish and want to keep him here with us.
We need your prayers.

Good afternoon everyone. It's been a pretty good day for me so far. I've been really bad with the water today though -- none so far. But I had 3 diet Cokes!

I was up all night again coughing, so I skipped the gym again today. This cold is on its second week and it better go away soon or else!

The tile is supposed to be started in my kitchen today -- we'll see how far he got when I get home tonight. It's weird not being able to cook or anything. And expensive to have to eat in the cafeteria for breakfast and lunch and a restaurant for dinner. I have no stove, no sink and no space for the microwave.

Please take care,

My friend made a DVD of all the family pictures, old video clips, the funeral and the burial when her father passed away. They had everything set to his favorite songs and had interviews done during the funeral dinner and wake to record all the great stories and memories people had of him. I thought it was a bit morbid at first but the grandchildren he hasn't met and the ones who couldn't remember him love it because they feel like they get to know him and who he was. She made copies for everyone to pass down to future generations.

Maybe a memorial of some sort will help you all share the good memories. I wish you and your family well.
