Walked for 1 hour this morning before work again today. Actually ran 1 block.
Need prayers about my food intake, Start good in the morning but something goes arye by lunch.

Day three done
I did 35 on the treadmill and 25 on the bike. I didn't do any machines because I think I heard somewhere not to do it everyday? A friend was at the gym tonight and she came up and talked to me while I was doing the treadmill and before I knew it the time was gone. If only I could have her do that everytime.
I have been extremely hungry today. I keep telling myself it is fat burning and just ignore it.

Way to go, an hour of walking. I will pray for you about your food. Keep busy and do allot of self talk. The more you tell yourself what you can have today and what you cannot the easier it will get.

OK! Day four done.
I met some friends for dinner. I did great. Tons of vegies and a reasonable serving of beef. No noodles or rice or ice cream(which comes free with the meal) and I only ate half my meal. I will eat the rest for breakfast!
I went to the gym right after dinner. I didnt plan on doing the machines, but there was only one person in there so I figured-why not? I did Su,Tu,Th with weights, so I am done with that for the week. Yes Vicki, you're right. You are supposed to rest a day between to allow for muscle repair. I am getting some helpful advice over on the "women who lift" forum. I also did a solid 65min on the elliptical and burned more cals than I usually do. Seemed really easy tonight. Maybe it was doing it right after I ate that helped. Usually I go on an empty stomach.

I know how hard it was when I first started back this time. I was hungry continuously. I think it does get better. It is easier for me now and I am in my third week of SBD and 5Xweek exercise. I could not have done it without the girls here though. Hang in there. You are making posotive changes.

Your over the hump for the week! I love being distarcted during exercise. It really helps. I am so impressed with how far you have come. It really keeps me motivated!

I hope ya'll are having a good weekend. We were busy today running errands. We went and saw the "Island" last night. It was really good. Made ya think. I was so hungry through the whole movie. I did eat alittle popcorn. I ended up eating a LC when we got home. My hubby has lost 25 pds and his wedding band fell off in the theater. Thank goodness we found it.

everyone has lost so much and is exercising so much!!
the various schools around here have been starting back the last couple of weeks and so my workload has been a little crazy...but it should be settling down somewhat now. (at least until report cards come out!!)
i have still been struggling a little. my diet and exercise are going great but the numbers on that scale have been staying steady at 160...i was almost ready to call it quits and say that if it wouldn't go down any more this week, i was going to drop the diet and eat what i want and stay at 165.
but yesterday morning the scale went to 159.5, and now i'm all psyched. we'll see what it is at my "official" weigh-in on tuesday.

Hi Gals,
I worked Yesterday a 13 hour day at work. Our Family Picnic was Huge this year over 700 quests add to that 200 of our residents. So i did not walk yesterday but i think i got my miles in with all that running around and setting up the event and taking down.
It was great to see all my residents smiling faces.
Back on food track today. I eat a huge dinner last night because i did not have time to eat all day. I have to weigh in latter today

My calves are screaming at me this morning! I guess I really over-did at the park on Sunday, then did weights yesterday. I should have skipped the calf work. I guess I didn't consider the steps and hills at the park a "weight" day so I didn't give them a rest. And let me tell you-they hauled some weight around! I may have to skip the gym today and go Saturday.

I was doing a 21 day challenge to stay on SBD on another thread and made it through. Unfortunately-on my free day I went to McDonalds and had a bigmac and fries. Plus I am on phase 2 as of this week, so I am really wary of getting on that scale. I decided to wait until next Monday to torture myself.

Hey all,
O.k. this crazy man tried to kill me tonight. In step class that is.
It was my first time in a step class. I think the guy was crazy. He had a mic and came up right next to me and Told me not to watch other people's feet because they may mess up. I just put my hand up like o.k. I am dying here so back off.
I walked out of the gym and it was pouring rain. I have never been so glad to get wet.The next class is Thursday and I will see if I will go again or stick to my own workout. I know my body hurts so bad. I will do my normal gym routine tomorrow.

I had to get stuff done to start my new job today. I wore a 14 skirt when I went. I couldn't believe it fit. Some days I look in the mirror and think ..you can't tell I have lost weight. But, when you get in a smaller size you think the negative talk is stupid.
Sounds like everyone is doing great. Where is Amy? We miss you Amy.
