HI, I'm Kim. I think I've been here before, when I was a WW member, but then I quit WW and I never posted on here after that.

I am now dieting again, but this time, my Dr. has me on a 'special' diet. I am diabetic and she didn't like my last A1C test. She said I either lose weight or she puts me on insulin. I prefer to lose weight.

Monday's are my WI days. As of today I have lost 15.5lbs. I started this new diet 3 weeks ago. I LOVE It!

Well anywho, I'm in Georgia, so if there are any other Peaches out there, let me know ~wave~

Hi, Good for you! I 'm not diabetic but I am on the verge of taking BP medicatons along with Cholesterol med's. I don't want to do that either! So I will take off the weight and exercise and hopefully It won't come to that!

I'm happy to see you are trying anything before you go into the insulin! Exercise does help too. It make the muscles more receptive to insulin so reduces your need!

I really like the diabetic diet too. It's healthy and easy to follow.

Just to introduce myself, I am a 17-year-old young woman from Omaha, Nebraska. I am in my second quarter of college, studying to become a teacher. I particularly am partial to kindergartners! I also am a member of St. Margaret Mary's Parish and I go to Mass often. I also might be discerning a vocation to become a religious sister. But about that another time!
