wanna be my buddy???

  • Hi, I just joined this site, and I would like a buddy. i dont really know how this works though.
    I'm down 10 pounds, but i dont have the will power to go on a diet. My ultimate goal from 139 to 117. But my first step is to be 124 pounds.
    currently, i dont really know what diet should i start off with, and i've just joined a fitness centre.
    i lack confidence, thus i'm too shy to do most things, and i'm sick of that.
    so i'm looking for a serious buddy, who can practically advice me on my diet.

  • Hi and welcome to the site. You have made a wonderful start by posting and asking for support. I am generally pretty shy and lack self-confidence when it comes to body image. I joined a fitness center a year ago and have only recently begun going reguarly. It was a huge step for me to actually take a class, but I am so glad I did because I enjoy it and it has given my self confindence a huge boost! As far as diets go, a good place to start is taking a close look at what you are doing now and see how you can modify...for me, portion control is key, as well as cutting out extra snacks.
