Cool WW buddy needed!

Hi everyone! I am in need of a WW buddy or buddies to swap our daily journal and recipes. And of course support and ideas! I am determined for this to be the last time I have to say that I am trying AGAIN! This time it is I am going SUCCEED!!!!

I restarted WW online last Friday and have been OP since tomorrow is my day of truth to get on the scale, I haven't peeked once!

Anyone interested in being a buddy? I am 36 years old have a 16 1/2 year old son and have a wonderful husband for the last 18 years. We also have 2 himalyan cats in our family that keep us in stitches.

Come on let's start journaling!!!!!

Default Hey Michelle!

Good luck on your weigh in! How do you feel doing the plan? I am investigating the point system to determine if I can do the WW system. I am 37, 7 kids, 3 of which are teen boys. If I feel I can swing it, I'd love to buddy up with you. I guess I am just afraid of failing yet again, so I am trying to be well informed this go round!!

Welcome to the best place on the web.

Cool HI Cindi

Hi Cindi.........wow 3 teen age boys whew! Don't know how you do it one teenage boy is enough for me....lol!!!!! You are my hero that is for sure! How old is your oldest/youngest?

I like the point system you get your target points then you have your flexpoints then if you exercise you get your AP's! WW works for me because there is no limit on what you can eat just the portion of it. So if the family wants pasta, steak or whatever it may be I can have it!

Failure well I guess I am afraid that too but I am not going to let it get in my way! I have failed to many times and this time I am going to successful. Stick with me girl I am very determined this time!

Are you doing any plan now?

And thanks for the good luck, am praying that at least the 3 lbs I gained are gone!!!! Hope to hear from you soon!

Hello Sassycat
I'd LOVE to have a WW buddy! I've done points in the past with great results, but then I had my daughter, who is now 10 months old. I've been on plan for about 2 weeks now. I started with just a low fat/low cal/low carb diet for a month and lost about 10 pounds, but I needed a boost, so the points system is what I came back to.
I'm 22, and have been married for 2 years. I've gaind a total of 90 pounds sisce my DH and I started dating 4 years ago. I got into a rut and started NOT caring about how I present myself... but now with my daughter on the verge of walking I have realized that I f I dont take care of me then WHO will???
So...17 pounds later I feel inspired, and I feel like I really can accomplish my goal this time around!

Michelle,

How did it go today for you?

My children range in age from 18 mos to 18 years old. I have one girl who is 3 out of the whole bunch, bless her heart!!

I'll stick with you, but you may get sick of me asking questions all the time til I get it all figured out!! LOL!! I have really just been watching my portions and cutting out so many sweets for the past couple of weeks, and it has worked well. I just need a little more structure I think to be able to make a lifestyle change.

Ivanna is right, if we don't take care of ourselves, who will? I have spent so long putting everyone else first that it has jeopardized my health now, so no more!! But then again, having a mom who is fit and will be around alot longer because of it will benefit everyone. So let's join together and make it happen this time!!!

We are one week into the Easter Challenge if you want to jump in

http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/showthread.php?p=553064

There are several doing WW and exercising and it's a great bunch to hook up with. Maybe I'll see ya there!!

Talking Wahooo!!!

Good morning Cindi and Amy Jo! I did my WI this morning and am happy to report I lost those 3 lbs I gained the week before. So that puts me at 187 again but it seems everytime I reach 187 I can never get down any further so we shall see with my new found buddies I think I can do it!!!!!

I have off today and will get oustide hopefully if the rain holds off for a walk. First I have some cleaning to get done since DH will be home tonight. But I plan on staying OP this weekend we celebrated Easter last weekend with our nephew he was on leave from Iraq and had to go back this past Monday so that eating day is over...*phew*!

Cindi-I will check out the Easter challenge I saw the thread but thought that it was almost over with Easter upon us already. Wow 1 girl God bless her and YOU!!!! So which is easier boys or girls....lol? And yup Amy Jo is right if we don't care of ourselves no one else is gong to! Let's do this! I will start posting my journal daily! And I love new recipes and am always tring new ones so if you need recipes let me know I have tons of low fat point friendly ones saved on this computer.

Amy Jo-First off congrats on your new baby girl!!!! And for deciding it was time to get healthy and you are right 100% about taking care of yourself. I wish I would have when my son was littler. Do you do the online version of WW or do you go to meetings? I am onliner because of my work I am not free when our local meeting is held.

Ok I will be off and on all day today with being home!!!!

TTFN

Hi Carri!!!!! Awesome job girl you have done great!!!!!!! You have done really well!!!! I was in denial I guess you would call it, just not motivated and just didn't really care at the time anymore but I have come back with a vengance and am determined to get this weight off once and for all!!!! I would love to be around to see my grandkids (well not for a little while yet) and with being over weight and smoking those were the ingredients for diaster! So now I have cut back drastically on my smoking and am working on losing this fat!!!!

Good Morning!

Nicole I think if I were a teacher I would pick 3rd or 2nd grade. At that age they are so cute and they are ready learn.

We can do this I know we can I have to be perfect too and am hoping to at least maintain this week I don't want those same 3 lbs I have been playing with for the last month back on!!!!

Well everyone have a nice day!!!!! I am throwing something in the crockpot so I don't have to cook when I get home from work!

Smile Here I am!!!!!

I fell off a bit, too. But not Easter, yesterday!!!!! My TOM came unexpectedly and I didn't feel like grocery shopping, so I got fast food for lunch and made due with what we had here for dinner and it wasn't much to brag about. But even that wasn't as bad as a normal day before I decided to gain control over my life again. Kinda sad, huh? Not feeling much better today, but more determined to make the extra effort. I have to go to the store today no matter what, so no excuses.

Welcome Nicole!! Glad you are joining us!

I will eat even better this week and also up the exercise some more. IF TOM isn't so hard on me this time.

Michelle, Amy Jo, Carri, and Nicole...let's make it the BEST week by giving it our BEST effort!!

Default I'd Love to Join In!

Hi ladies!

Just reading your postings today has inspired me and really imparted the value of joining a support circle. By the first week in May I will have graduated from college, moved back to Lancaster, lost my wonderful WW meeting, and started working full-time. Its craziness!! Any support y'all could give me would be wonderful in this hectic time.

I love the WW program because I'm a huge fan of fruits and veggies. Unfortunately, I've fallen into stress eating even more during my years of college. Its time to break the cycle!!

My mom is a lifetime memeber and both she and my dad are great supporters. Because I love fruits and veggies so much I tend to depend on them with other whole foods or wraps with turkey. Any meal suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Can't wait to join you, ladies!!
