  • Hello Everyone! I would like to find anyone out there is on there way to the 200 marker! I have 36 pounds to go to get there and would like some buddies to converse with as often as possible.

I would like to get there by September and I know that motivating words and inspirations stories are a great start.

The time is now and summer is going to be here if we are over 200 or at 200 so why not be at 200 and enjoy life and friendship just a little bit more!

I think that OUR group could all reply on this forum as often as possible but, I think that Monday should be the BIG WEIGH IN day! Each and every week getting closer and closer to the 200 marker! Which is ONE chin to me and well size 14 jeans too!! (I tend to carry my weigh all in my upper half!)

So alllll abbbboard!!!!!!!!!!! Next stop is 200ville!!!

  • Hey there!
I know what you mean...I have 33 pounds to get to 199 and for me, that would mean a size 14 or 16 too! A couple of years ago I was right about 201 and I stopped..I gave up and gained a lot more! I can wear some 14/16's on top...my weight is in my thighs and butt!

I am starting a thread in the "Exercise" section...why don't you join me? We can share our success together.

    Girlie
  • hey, I'm at like 220, and desperately need to get going in the right direction!

PM me to tell me what direction we're taking! -Apryl
  • ah ha . ah ha. Can I join too? I too am excitedly cruising in the 200 direction......I'm at 214.....and dreaming of Onederland.....
  • I'm stuck around 225 right now, but I'm climbing back on the wagon and going back in the right direction. Hoping to move into Onederland by mid-summer. Don't know what size I'd be then, but it would be smaller than I am now, so whatever it is is great!

  • Ladies, can I join you? I weigh a little over 200lbs, and I would love all the support I can get!
  • Hi all I'd love to join!! I'm currently on Atkins and have lost 7lbs so far and Im on day 5 . I hope to get to know you all better

    Take Care
  • Welcome!
I have to admit that I was getting a little worried out there no one responded to me right away! But, today that was 6 responses!
I am thrilled and want to get to know everyone! I have to admit that I have had my TOM (time of month) and I haven't been all that faithful. And not to make excuses but life has been treating me like a babies diaper lately. It seems nothing can go right for me lately!
Enough with the gloom though! The time is now and we all want to be at or under that 200 marker,,,no matter what size that takes any of us at. We will all look better and feel better about our future, the summer coming and fitting into clothes will be alot better.

I have found that eating foods that are low glycemic is a better idea. Those foods keep us full longer and they don't elevate the blood sugar which will suppress any sudden urges to break into a bag of double stuff oreos! www.glycemicindex.com is the website that can be accessed to find out what is low and what should be avoided. Simply type in the foods that you have in question and it will show you. Also it gives a briefing on staying healthy with the good, clean foods that we need. Clean I mean food that looks as close to what it originated at when it ahhhh originated. Bagged and boxed foods should be limited. This is what I am trying to do at least. I am just telling you about me and my plan. I have been on Atkins and lost 46 pounds and gained in all back with 14 pounds interest in less than 2 years. I have tried WW and ran out of points by dinner. I have done just a "low fat" program back in the Susan Powter's era and trust me I tried to "stop the Insanity" (any of the vintage dieters like me know who and what I am talking about) I have tried everything and I have had my thin years and heavy ones too (this being one of the heavy's) I have a closet full of clothes...anything from a sized 10 skirt to 18! And everything inbetween there too! Point is that I have been there and I am there again...and I am glad that other's can relate and jump aboard!!

Talk to me to buddies....tell everyone about you and your stories. What are you goals and wants! The last time that I lost weight successful I had my navel pierced and this time I want to get a tattoo.. I wish that my "rewards" were less painful! lol

Anywazz can't wait to hear (read) more!

  • Can I join too?

I am not a woman and have a longer journey than some of you
I got sick and tired when I topped out at 299 that was about 8 weeks ago
and i couldn't take it any more. My weight has slowly crept up and over the top these past few years. Well I weighed in today and am happy to say have lost 21 pound I am down to 278. So i only have 78 pounds to go

    Thanks
    Stef

  • Count me in. I would love to be there by the end of summer. But I think September is when it will happen. So I am going to say 46 pounds (from my last weigh in -- Easter Sunday) to September 20th. One month from my birthday.

    This is a great idea.
