Hello all, I just discovered this forum page the other night, finally got around to registering! I will properly introduce myself... I live and work in Toronto, Canada, I am 45 yrs old and am a Type 2 Diabetic. To date I have lost over 30lbs, but need to loose an additional 30lbs to get to my goal weight. Of course the benefits of loosing weight is looking fab and what have you, but I am mainly doing it out of health concerns.

Lastly...how do I get that funky picture jpeg? gif? of the lbs lost progress at the bottom of my profile? thanks to those who reply.

Nice to see another Ontarian. We sure are a hardy lot this winter. Hope you are warm and cozy. I am Type II as well.

The little thing at the bottom of posts is a weight tracker. You will be able to have one (and receive PMs from other chicks) when you have been here 20 days and have 20 posts or more.

Hiya Ruth! I know...this winter has been a rough one! OOoh ok about the weight tracker, ok cool...I was playing with it and couldn't figure it out. LOL! Thanks for the info! I'm just learning how to post on here...so bare with me! ha!

Hi there! I'm kinda new here too... I joined a week or so ago. Love seeing my fellow Canadians on here!! We are having a crazy winter here too!!

What plans are you guys using? I'm doing Ideal Protein and so far I like it a lot. Eggberta- congrats on your weight loss so far!!
