New Here - Just trying to keep myself in CHECK!
Hi all!
My name is Holly, and I am brand new here. I am not necessarily TRYING to lose weight (although I would be ok with a few pounds). I am just trying to surround myself with like-minded healthy people.
For 14 years, I battled an eating disorder (both anorexia and binge eating), and I am proud to say that I have won the battle as of March 2011. It is still a work in progress, and there are always some hiccups, but I am living proof that an eating disorder can be conquered. I proudly live my life with the mentality that I am the only person who can make changes in my life and who can make choices over what I eat and don't eat.
I try to work out at least 4-5 times a week, if not more. I love Zumba, I lift weights here and there, I've attempted to find enjoyment in running (and ran my 1st 5k last spring!), and I am newly practicing yoga (which I'm in LOVE with right now!).
I am looking forward to meeting new people through this forum and as I said before, keeping myself around other healthy people with similar goals as mine.
