Default Struggle in the UK

Hi all

Need to lose abaout 26 to 28 lbs. Am looking for some interaction with others on this. I find it hard to keep up the motivation and the required amount of exercise!

Will have a look around to familiarise myself. Wish me luck all. Am really a GI eating person and have been toying with Dukan. Hmm.

Hi Beverley,

I'm sure you will achieve your goal, are you currently a member of a gym?

Do you stick to the GI because you are diabetic? Or is it just because you choose to try and eat the better foods from there?

Hi & Welcome to 3FC =)

If you're interested in the Dukan Diet you might be able to chat with others following the plan under Diet Central!

The only "required" amount of exercise you need for losing weight is "do a little more". If you have trouble beginning a workout routine, then do things that are going to add in activity in small, but permanent ways. Train yourself to park further from stores, to take the stairs instead of the elevator, to take a stroll around the office building before going inside. Start small, make it a habit, you can build up when it gets to be routine.

If you want other exercise tips there's an Exercise area of the forums!

Best of wishes!
