So I am a 27 year old full time working mom to my beautiful 1 year old. After I gave birth I began working hard to shed the 22lbs I gained while pregnant. I successfully did this before returning to work when my daughter was 3 months old. Well as soon as I returned to work I stopped working out and started slowly gaining all my weight back again.
I woke up one day and said this is it. I have to get healthy and get in shape so I can raise this little girl to be healthy. I did not want to see my daughter struggle and have the same weight issues I do. So that was it. I joined weight watchers the next week and began counting points and weighing and measuring everything I ate. I then began working out. Of course in the beginning it was so hard but now it has become routine for me.
I have been cooking a lot more now and just focusing on eating healthy. I also have celiac disease so I have to be careful. I am happy to report though that I have rheumatoid arthritis and since losing the 40lbs I do not have to take my medicine anymore!

So now it has been 5 months and I am still going strong. I am in better shape than I was when I was 21 years old! I began my journey at 252lbs and now I am at 209lbs. I am looking forward to being under 200 and getting closer and closer to my goal of becoming a lifetime weight watchers member
