Hi all! I am a 37 year old, and I am starting my journey in losing 55 pounds. I am 5' 1.5" and weigh 180 lbs - rounding up, of course

.
I am not following any particular plan, but I am keeping track of my calories. I have been to WW in the past, I have followed SB for a couple months, and I have kept a calorie journal. All have worked, but I am more comfortable with keeping a calorie/food journal. I am an emotional eater, and I am the type of person who allows the comments of certain people to sabotage my weight loss. I have exercised in the past, so I am no stranger. I just seem to get into a rut... and I am crawling out of this one!
I have a 10-year-old daughter who has high-functioning autism (Asperger's), and she was in need of a new oblong ball after hers had burst while she was bouncing on it. Those things are difficult to find! We knew there was one in the Barry's Bootcamp kit, so we just bought the kit from Amazon (which has since gone down to 19.99 with free shipping from 25.00.) Buying the bootcamp has actually motivated me to do it. Today was my second day, and I can still feel yesterday! Just for laughs, look up the Barry's Bootcamp and look at the picture of Barry. It kinda looks like he's the one sitting on the ball if you don't notice the upper half of the woman on the ball. My daughter and I get a laugh out of that picture.
Now, I am hoping that I will find the support that I need. I'm not high maintenance, but I do know that I would need it at certain times. I would also be able to offer support to others when needed.
Thanks for reading and I look forward to getting to know you, and to my journey, and to reaching my destination with you all!
