We do not get charged per visit, nor were we charged for an initial first visit. The only thing we get charged is for food. On top of that, for every 20 pounds you lose, you get a $20 gift card to one of the restaurants that has an ideal protein menu, he worked out a deal with them and they created a menu just for ideal protein. We are very thankful to have an amazing place to go.

asmuir -- that is quite the deal you've got there!

Just wanted to circle back around and confirm that, yes, I am indeed charged $20 per visit even in maintenance. Boo! Guess I'll stop going....

OK Mimi, it occurred to me when I read your post ...
are we all paying the same for IP products? I wondered if they charge you a little less and are re-couping with the $20 a week?
IP P1 was such a hit for me financially, I can't imagine paying an extra $80 a month on top of all of that. Don't get me wrong, it was a great financial investment, and worth the price of a small used car for the health I have gained. I knew that going in, and I think the financial part actually helped me with the last 10% of commitment I needed, because I certainly didn't want to pay it again....

My products were generally $4 a package, there were a few that were $4.50 and $5.00. The supplements varied. We were permitted to buy by box ($28 or $29.50) or per item.

Is that the same for everyone? I assumed it was totally consistent everywhere but now I am just curious.

WOW.... our boxes are $28.50 a box, so that would be why they may be charging us a weekly fee.

I think I mis-wrote it, the boxes for the $4 products were $28, there was no discount really for getting a box.

I could imagine they could charge more depending on the area if rents/overheads are higher for example in the bigger coastal cities.
My clinic is in Colorado Springs.

Anyway it likely doesn't matter, I just have a bit of a curious business mind.

I paid $500 Canadian to start up, that included the vitamins and 28 pkgs of food, I now pay $4 per pkg except some that are pre-made are 4.50-$5 (again Canadian).

There is no weekly charge after the initial cost.

Oh good....I thought I was having money stolen from me..... according to new FDA regulations, (or maybe just my clinic) they no longer do just packages, only full boxes.

Hi Amber -- Wow. I have really been getting ripped off. My IP place charges $32 per box, and you cannot buy most items individually.

What area of the country do you live in? Is it a big city?

Again, just curiosity questions…

I guess what matters is in the process of getting a little ripped off you achieved your goals
