Happy Monday! (And GO PATRIOTS!)
Hope everyone had a great weekend. I had a lovely dinner with my ladies' small group from church on Sunday, they were having manicotti but the host set aside some of her homemade sauce for me and I brought some yellow squash noodles, had that with a big salad and just ate my protein at lunchtime. There is another woman in our group that recently went totally gluten-free, so there was no issue as far as social pressure - we have a few special dietary needs among us so we just accommodate
My kids made a big decision yesterday...they decided to spend ALL of their Christmas money getting a HAMSTER
I was actually very proud of them, they had been talking on and on about the different toys they wanted to get with their money, but as soon as the idea of using it toward a hamster came up, they were both on board and worked out a cleaning/feeding/watering schedule without much help from me
He's pretty cute too, and they named him Emmett (after the Lego movie character).
