They may get to hate seeing me coming!

I hope that's the problem. It can be so hard to wait all week for those weigh ins -- we need it to go well! Good luck!;)

I just entered my weekly official (with IP) WI - down 3.4 lbs this week -- so terrific after -.8 last week... I am so encouraged because now my BMI makes me Overweight instead of Obese -- I have not been in that range since 1992, more than 20 years ago!

Life is good!

YAY YOU!!!!!:carrot: Great job!

Well after my gain of 2 last week for no apparent reason, this week I am down 3! So the up tic took a friend away with it! Lol.

Hit 70lbs down this week :carrot::carrot: I would have never thought this possible back in July when I started.....stick with it, you lose at your own rate....

Just a reminder to post last week's weigh ins.

I've taken a long-weekend vacation from the cold and I'm currently sitting here in the Florida sunshine. Thanks to a snow day today I did not have to take this day off work. But I am getting ready to pack up and head back to the cold again. If you've requested access to the spreadsheet I will probably be able to grant that tomorrow. Thank you for your patience.

Hi Lisa, yes the sunshine in Florida was lovely yesterday, wasn't it! I'm here too, but for 2 weeks with my sister. Staying OP, of course, although it's challenging to try to up her calories while maintaining my own program. Ah, well. Happy to be here and looking forward to a good loss in the coming week. I'm feeling it (and looking it). Have a safe trip back home.

down 3.6 pounds- inches did not move at all, body fat number went up slightly and muscle percentage went down- NOT happy with this at all, trying to figure out why and coach suggested to eat 2 unrestricted and one restricted to see if this helps. I struggles sometimes and mostly in evening with cravings. I feel like I am slightly falling off at times and I want to keep my momentum going.

awesome job way to go and it inspires me to read all the post of everyone's success and gives me hope when I feel like throwing in the towel and giving up. I feel my mind plays tricks with me at times knowing I can't have certain foods and my mind be a pig and wanting what I can't have and knowing full well it is not good for me.. Daily struggles.

Lisa, I'm trying to post this week's numbers but I can't get it to the point where I can edit my stuff. I've not had this problem before. I need to enter 2.6 pounds loss for this week. I'll keep trying but if I can't could you, please?

Don't worry about the fat % up a teeny & muscle % down a bit. First of all -the machine they use is not that reliable - you need to be weighed underwater or failing that, in a BodPod. Secondly the other number is not just muscle, it is lean body mass, so it could be water or other tissue, or even a fuller colon, lol - just not fat.
Also as you lose weight you will need less amount of muscle to carry your body, BUT the proportion of fat to lean will change and be lower. My last coach (a new girl) had a small fit when I showed a tiny loss of lean mass from my original weigh in, but my body fat went down several percent so in reality I was much leaner and had more muscle mass in proportion once I had lost the weight.
Hang in there... your body will be rearranging things and you will see at least inches lost soon.

Liana

There is a 2.6 already entered for WEEK 6: Feb 7-13.
This is week 7: Feb 14-20.

Did you also want 2.6 for week 7?

Finally broke 170. Cannot remember when I was in this range. Have another 10 days to go then in to phasing off. Am getting nervous but lurking in the maintenance treads and getting ready.

Any idea where my tracker went. I thought I editied it and now it is gone.

Lisa, I know it's really late, but is there any chance I could still join this challenge? I realize it's for active participants, and I hope that I have been active enough in the few days since I joined 3FC! I wanted to check here before I send an email requesting in, since I don't want to inundate your inbox with useless requests!

Good advice from Liana there larn37, but I'm surprised that your coach suggested increasing the carbs/caloric intake by eating a second restricted packet for a potential muscle loss. The building blocks for muscle are protein. Increase your protein (probably a hard boiled egg or two) but not your calories. Make sure you are having your full 8oz (uncooked weight) of lean protein for your main meal of the day, and supplement with extra protein if it falls short. Increasing carbs and calories will slow or inhibit loss of any kind, regardless of whether it's from fat or lean mass. Seems a strange way to proceed. Are you exercising at all, or more physically active now you are weighing less? That can affect muscle loss if you are not replacing burnt calories/carbs.
