WI this morning - I made it!! Into the 220's

Also measured this morning, and was down about 9 inches overall from the first of the month.

Sue, crossing fingers for you!!

There is room for everyone here in Onederland, hope you join me soon. I just went back and looked at my chart. when I look at the number of days I spent in each "decade" since I began IP, it turns out that I spent the most days so far in the 220s. Hoping today is your first day out of the 220s!

It won't be too much longer -- got my fingers crossed re your WI today - getting out of the 220's will be quite a rush on its own!

I just posted today's WI to my signature block -- I was thrilled to be down just over 2lbs. I have been losing pretty slowly since Thanksgiving (only one week of no loss in 6 mos), and today was thrilling because my weekly loss was back to more than 1 lb.

I was so psych'd after the weigh in that when I went to a nearby shopping center to pick up some curtains I had ordered before Thanksgiving, I saw a Comfort One shoe store and felt compelled to go in there... I spent $$$$$ on 2 new pairs of shoes... they feel like heaven on my feet, and they are practical for day to day wear, but they sure were expensive.....

And, undeterred, I then stopped by the local Drapers & Damons store and bought some new dancing duds on sale... I will be going to a dance party on New Year's eve and I now have a jazzy new top with bling to wear with my dressy britches (smaller pants that I already had on hand in my 'Closet of Many Sizes').

I feel like I went overboard spending today - but I also feel like I earned the right to some rewards after staying on program for 6 months and especially through the holidays. I have lived off of cheapo clothing items from Woman Within and Haband or Blair catalogs for the past 3 or 4 years -- unwilling to invest any more money than absolutely necessary in more 'fat girl' clothes. It was a wonderful feeling to find some nice items that fit, and it's great to be able to try on XL or L instead of 2X or 1X in plus sizes. These are small things in the overall picture, but it certainly adds to a positive perspective regarding everything.

I feel so ready for the new year and ready for the rest of this journey -- thanks for being here so we can make our journeys together!

Your accomplishments are truly amazing, too -- you are so close to 100 lbs gone.

Like you, when I started I could not get my head around the idea of losing 90 lbs - I set my goal with the IP coach at a 50 lb loss, and couldn't really imagine that I would lose that much. I never lost more than 40 in my life.

Now here we are, actually doing what we set out to do.... we fearfully set our journey in motion, but here we are doing it!!!

I am so looking forward to hanging out with you as your achieve your goal, and so glad you are part of this forum to hang out with me as I continue to my goal.

We July Starters are doing quite well - I hope we continue to support one another all the way into maintenance.

We've ALL done so well this year and 2015 will bring us all into maintenance if we stick together and stay OP.

Where is Sue, our other Tuesday weigh-in?!

My thought too regarding Sue! Sgrealtor how'd ya do this week? We are ready to cheer you on no matter what that final official WI says, ya know!!!

Regarding a new thread - I have been watching the total posts -- we are approaching 500, which is the point at which 3FC posts a request that we start a new one. Starting a new thread on January 1st for '2014 July Starters Continue Journey in 2015' sounds like a great idea, JJTx! You may have a better idea for a good thread name -- Do you want to be the creator of the new thread?

Im Here....LOL sorry I had to rush off to work after WI...

Its official....I am out of the 220's Bye Bye...

Down 1 this week for an official 219 WI. Lost 8 Lbs between Thanksgiving and New Years & 62 for the 6 months on program.... LOVE IP

Thanks you guys for looking for me....It means a lot knowing your waiting for my results....we are all doing fantastic!

Changed my profile photo to my before photo...Actually that is the photo I used for my new business cards... I know I need a new one, but that was the best I had. I really should take pictures of my journey (saw Lisa's and I am jealous). I know that I have some like from vacations and such...just need to get them into one place. Will make sure I take on at the under 220 mark. That's one to remember!
