Slip: The Dr. Didn't was why the fatty liver but she did say the best thing for it was losing weight. So I assume it was from all those years over weight.

Kooky: had a look at the swimsuit website, lots of nice ones on there. So much nicer now swimsuit shopping.

This is my last week of work and then I am off for the summer! lots of activities going on this week, thinking I will be tired by the weekend. Lol. All the little kids love their year end parties.

Slipfree & Want2B- Happy last week of school! Enjoy the festivities and I hope your kiddos behave for you.

I agree...It is much less daunting looking at swimsuits. I still don't know if I'm prepared for the scary fluorescent lighting in department stores. When I shop online I can try the bathing suit on at home in a natural, more flattering light and actually feel ok. I love the one that I found even though I haven't worn it out yet. I'm generally not a tankini gal, but I really like that particular suit and that I could order by cup size. I'd ordered three separate bathing suits since I've gotten close to goal and the chest part has been a problem on every one of them (returned them all) except for the one I just bought. It was still pretty horrifying trying on those ill fitting bathing suits, but nothing like it was before.

1/2 day left!!!

Home to work on the yard. Have a lot to do before leaving for Maine, yikes!

I think accepting our bodies is the best thing we can do for ourselves. I am at a point where- it is what it is. Not model perfect but a **** of a lot better than 92 pounds ago

Kooky: In March I had to go to a specialty swimsuit store to get a bathing suit for Hawaii. So that was a little intimidating. I told the lady what I was looking for and she pulled some that she thought might fit. Then helped me figure out if they fit properly and if they looked good. I will definitely be going back to get another one before our trip in Nov. You might want to consider splurging on a swimsuit like that, worth the $$ to get something that you know fits and looks good, those ladies know there stuff! Just a thought.

Slip: You are so right about excepting our bodies. I look in the mirror some days and can't believe that my stomach is that flat...it's still a long way from perfect but I think it looks good with clothes on. I am still going to lose those last 10lbs, but I am on my way to being happy with me. Can't remember when the last time I was happy with me was. I am never going to be perfect, but who is? We will always find something we don't like about our bodies. I think being happy with our bodies is also going to help us to maintain them.

The next 2 days will be the busiest for me...I have 4 year end parties and 52 3 and 4 year olds that will attend! Sometimes I wonder why I do this! LOL So worth it to see their faces and to get hugs at the end...and also for the heartfelt thank you from the mom's, knowing their kids had a good year and I was a part of that.

Kooky, I love my new bathing suit! It arrived today.

Want2b, I feel the same way. I have never been okay with my body, but I am now. I appreciate how hard my body and mind has worked to get me where I am now. I have put it through a lot over the past 20 years of yo-yo ing. I think that it deserves a little healthy respect for all the hard work. In maintenance, we need to reward our bodies with healthy food, tons of water and increased movement.

Wow, you are awesome! 4 parties, 52 kids and parents is a whole lot of work. I am glad that their faces make it all worth it. Tomorrow should be easy for me- our kids won the school behavior reward. I will be dishing out ice cream for sundae making and watching Toy Story 3.

Slip enjoy your vacation you deserve it!!!

House is going along very smoothly and quickly. I have been running around doing stuff for it. We are just waiting for an appraisal at this point. It should be ok. Want to paint inside and do a bathroom before we move in. We close July 7th but don't have to leave our place until Sept 30th so we have time to fix some stuff up before we move in which will be nice for us.

It is so hot here it is crazy. I am tired from being out in the heat and so is my dog! You don't realize how much it drains you so I am trying to drink even more water.

Luccilove, thanks! I really do feel like I deserve it. It has been a long year of hard work both at school and with IP. Looking forward to decompressing. I am so glad you stopped by, I have been thinking of you and the house. So glad that it is working out. Perfect timing with your being able to renovate and still live at your rental. You must be so excited! I feel your pain about the warm weather, the humidity is high here too. The kids were rather odiferous today, made me grateful for our cool spring. Lol!

Schenectady, are you around? Have not seen any posts from you lately.

Hawaii, Hiker, Steph, Jig, and Kawaii. How you doin?

Want2b- a professional swimsuit fitting sounds good! I've gotten fitted got bras before at a Nordstrom and it's wonderful. They find out you real size and turn shop for you. You just have to try on the bras and pick the ones you want. I might do that once my weight has stabilized. Fortunately the swimsuit I bought online fits really well since I was able to order by my bra size (band and cup specific). My problem is its foggy a lot and I have to seize the rare opportunities on the weekends when the sun is out and it's warm.

Slipfree- I'm glad you like your new swimsuit!

I'm feeling pretty accepting of my body. Like Slipfree said, I've put it through a lot from being overweight and yoyoi dieting, so I'm happy that it is resilient and healthy. I feel really confident with my clothes on, pretty confident in bra & undies, and ok naked. My stomach and breasts are the areas that need to rebound from the weight loss. I've been keeping my bras (aka boob jail) on longer when I'm at home to try to encourage lifting, I'm ready to start exercising with a trainer and see the definition happen in a normal amount of time instead of having to shed lots and lots of pounds beforehand.

Enjoy your last days of school ladies! It sounds pretty joyous!

Lucci- I'm glad your house situation is working out. I hope you and your pup get to relax in the AC and cool off.

My first week of phase 1 is over. I have actually felt better eating more food and fewer packets. I don't like the extra effort it takes of course, but it's inevitable that we have to stop relying on the packets at some point. I feel better mentally and less hungry eating more food instead of packets. I've run out of restricteds and I'm thinking I might not buy more. It's like my old patterns with junk food...when I have them, I eat them. My coach and doctor both said I'd lose more if I switch the restricted for an IP drink. I've been doing that for a few days and feel fine. I think I'll save myself the $30 and not buy a restricted tomorrow. I'm expecting a loss tomorrow, but TOM is looming at the end of the week. I should see at least a 2-3 pounds gone unless I retain water from TOM. I had to eat dinner late tonight because I had to stay late at eith yo finish something I'd promised to a client.

I just need to chill the heck out and realize that whatever I weigh tomorrow is fine. If pre-TOM or eating a late dinner increases my weight, I should see a bigger loss next week. I'm not aggressively trying to lose a lot more weight. I've already bought jeans and bras and don't want to have to spend even more money on smaller ones. I probably should have waited on getting nice jeans, but it was so excited that they fit really well and were so soft.

Things are going well in maintenance still. Its starting to get busy now that summer is here. We went away for a few days, was scared to get back on the scale when we got back. But, the number is still good, so learning to maintain even when not home and enjoying a few treats on holidays. Had fun clothes shopping! It surprises me every time a certain size fits, still getting my head wrapped around this weight loss. Am enjoying reading about everyones success. It helps to keep me motivated!

Great to hear your maintenance is going well! I also am having a bit of a time deciding what size to try on these days. Sometimes I pick something out and it's just too big (even the 'smalls'), and sometimes I hold something up to me and think it will fit, but I can't pull it up over my butt (the size 0 skinny jeans on sale the other day - what was I thinking?). Actually the waist would have fit, but I still have a bum & thighs - so the teeny skinny jeans weren't a good idea anyhow.

I was a size 5 thirty years ago, so you know how sizing numbers have changed since then...
Size 2/4 now depending on manufacturer.

Lucci: Glad the house adventure is going well. It is nice to have time to do a few things in it before you move in. Sometimes if you move in and then try to get them done they never get done! LOL

Slip: Are you FREE???? LOL Now to pack for your vacation! My kids are home from school this week, the teachers are on strike. Hoping it is resolved before Sept.

Kooky: Great job on the WI!!

Hawaii: I can't figure out what size I am on either. Seems like the brands and sizes differ so much, definitely need to try on everything...not that I mind. LOL

Canadjineh: Sizes are a funny thing I have decided. Congrats on the 2/4 size, that is an accomplishment.
