If your hotel has a mini fridge you are set... take HB eggs in the shell, lots of sturdy veggies already cut up and prepared, your packets that don't need cooking like puddings, drinks, crisps. You can even take chicken breast precooked and cut into strips. Your fave WF dressings or dips if you use them, and a little squeeze bottle of lemon juice or lime juice. You know, those lemon shaped bottles, lol. Work in a pinch for flavouring water, or putting over salad greens in a restaurant or freshening up your veggie flavour. If your hotel room has a microwave you are really in luck - you can take a glass bowl and do omelette packet or soups. There are travelling on IP/vacation on IP threads here so just take a look a page or three back in the IP thread list and click on them for ideas.
Chinese restaurants are an easy way to go. Just order steamed veggies and chicken or beef than top with soy sauce and chili garlic sauce if you like it.
