Make sure sugar isn't listed in the ingredients. Unfortunately most spice rubs I've found are made from pepper, sugar, garlic, paprika, etc.

The McCormick Grillmate Montreal Steak seasoning is 0/0/0 and is good!

Try to look for things that are 0/0/0 (calories, fat, carbs) to make sure there's no sugar or anything in there. Also, no msg or aspartame or other artificial sweeteners if you're trying to stay away from them.

Lighthouse - the 0/0/0 is sugar, fat and carbs. Easy mistake to make.

Love this! It is funny how sometimes they notice things, and other times they don't. I don't know if it is due to the fact that they see us every day, so they do not notice the big change, or if they are just a little self centered at that age.

Congrats on the 60!

On Program 100%, but struggling tonight. Just home from Zumba Aqua size, and really want to just eat something. Trust me I am not going to, I just going to have some celery and water or tea and fight through this and go to bed in 1 hour. I know I will be happy and proud in the morning.

dlr9774, hungry night for me too. I drank some more water and am in bed. Funny, how some weeks take more determination. I know that you have got this, I just wanted you to know- you are not alone in the struggle tonight.

You should have an extra packet after rigorous exercise

I remember years ago when I was on Atkins I really wasn't hungry at all. I thought it would be the same here, but I don't feel like I'm satisfied on any level.

To make matters worse, I have gas and can't be far away from the toilet from all the water I'm drinking. I think I've voided my bladder 10 times today (got up twice during the night). I'm a human water fountain.

Will this change?
I know the feeling....there are days I breeze through and others I am soooo hungry It WILL get better and the results are so worth it. Hang in there, this is a great forum to be a part of, always positive and many tips on food, coping, etc. You can do it

Really? I'm not exercising yet...still in my 3rd week. But I'm actually wanting to soon. I'll probably go to the gym in the morning, after breakfast. Would I still need to do that? Guess I need to read up more on exercising while on this.

I'm curious, how did your tortillas turn out? what did you have them with?

Awesome day. I've finally figured out to arrange my schedule and foods in a way that works for me. Last week was a hot mess, trying to figure things out. I feel relieved now that I've got that behind me!

I had a great NSV today. I really haven't lost much weight yet - maybe 10 pounds max, but I think it's all come from my belly area. I teach 3rd grade and I get lots of hugs. Today one of my students gave me a hug, stepped back, and then in a big voice said, "Mrs. _____, have you lost weight?! Seriously, have you been exercising? You are smaller." Got to love 3rd graders.
