Same thoughts here and it is TOM. I am much hungrier than in the beginning. That is why I was looking for quote inspiration yesterday. I also made myself a poster with all the pounds from starting weight to goal weight (Only since starting IP, had lost some before but not sure how much) each pound has its own box. Then, I crossed out all the weight given away so far. It was inspiring and made it seem manageable.

Good news is that my family is on board. They now understand that this needs to be 100% for me. Even told my Mom that I would have to bring something else for Christmas Eve. She said, she had already thought about the fact that I can not eat anything on the menu. That is growth!

Claustin- I think that you are being very hard on yourself. Negative thoughts bring negative actions. I think you should be as kind to yourself as you would be to your children. You struggled this weekend, but had 5 great days last week.

Luccilove- great wi results!

I CHEATED! I'M DOOMED. It's bad enough I didn't eat all the required IP foods last week, or enough veggies - where did the time go?? I ended up gaining a half a pound mid week? I drank half a Bud Select during the Vikings - Packers game last night. I couldn't stop myself. Tomorrow is my week 3 WI and I will be lucky if I have lost a total of 9 pounds. After 3 weeks of no booze, cheese, fried food, carbs, dairy and chocolate, I just find that hard to believe. Where is the justice in this world?! Okay. Enough of my rant. Thanks for the outlet.

Emsmom97- good luck tomorrow!

Madi100- fantastic, 7 pounds!

Mpfskinnyme- going to look for that recipe.

Danger- what a wonderful blessing!

Justdoinit- have definitely felt ill after taking the vitamins. Now, I
take the multi and potassium with breakfast. The rest I take after dinner. Not what the coach said, but it is working better for my stomach.

Welcome to the new people.

Well, I slipped a little bit this week, which I'm both mad about and happy about. I had a large group of people over to my house Saturday night to watch college football and I cooked quite the spread on my Traeger (including turkey and asparagus for me). But one of my guests brought some chicken wings as well. I had 2, yes 2, breaded, deep-fried chicken wings.

They tasted great, but within about 10 minutes of eating them I got so sick to my stomach and was still feeling it the next day. I'm mad at myself for being tempted, but at the same time I think it's a good reminder that a small cheat isn't worth the sickness or even more important, halting my progress. Needless to say I'll be thinking twice about cheating again in the future.

Emsmom,

I too have been feeling this way. I've dropped 28lbs in 21 days, and my WI day is tomorrow. I'm neurotic, scared, and beating myself up that it's not going to be "as good" as the last weeks numbers. Mind you, I've been sick and on drugs that make you retain water. I still feel like the numbers going down are "too good to be true". Despite all of this, I've stuck with plan, and with the exception of an extra oz of milk on one day, I've stayed 100%OP. It's nice to know that there are other people out there that are having just as much trouble with the mental aspects of this life change.

Thanks for being there ladies (and gents if there are any). It's nice to not feel so alone!

Good luck tomorrow! Remember, even if the numbers aren't what you're hoping for, you are still moving in the right direction!

Made a great dinner tonight - chicken stir fry with cabbage, mushrooms and
Bok choy sp? Used water, nf chicken broth, low sodium soy sauce and fresh ginger.

I started this journey because I'm sick and tired of hating what I see in the mirror every morning. Alsok , I went to the doctor because I wasn't feeling well my blood pressure was pretty bad. It was a wake up call for me. My brother died last year at 52 of a massive heart attack. I've got to get healthy for my kids because I am all they have.

I haven't cheated at all. I feel empowered over my cravings. I really haven't had that many. Just miss my wine. The hardest part for me is work. I work in the cafeteria at the high school and am preparing food all day long. There are temptations all day!!! The bread type foods are the worst for me. Also, the lunch room. Watching my co-workers eat to their hearts content. We are basically allowed to eat whatever we want there so, will power is at a max.

Well, day 1 (again) went well. Stayed 100% on plan. Even managed to have subway with my daughter at school (I had a chicken breast salad - 2 breasts, cucumbers and lettuce and I brought my own IP Pickles - It was filling) I had hot chocolate for breakfast and 2 eggs, hot chocolate, steamed broc/cauli. for supper (weird combo I know but it was good) I am such a picky eater. I am going to try the Big Mac in a bowl tomorrow, picked up all my ingredients today. Looking forward to trying it. Hope its something I like. I need something new to eat.... there's only so much chicken and broccoli I can eat in the run of a week lol.

Hope you all continue to have a wonderful evening!

Ps. Now accepting Will Power in any quantity

Hi All. I'm new to this group, but started on IP on October 2nd. Although I've had great success so far, I'm paranoid it's going to stop, like what some of the prior posters stated. It is so motivating to come on here and read how everyone else is doing!!

Hey all! Put the bloody club away and quit beating yourselves up! Life happens, you are human! I know that is easier said than done but don't let a moment turn in to anything more! Re-state your commitment to yourself and just get back on that horse

So far, 3 full weeks op. It hasn't been easy as there are numerous challenges everyday! I know staying strong now will condition me to keep on through the holidays. For me, I think of those temptations as costing me $85. I don't know about anyone else's finances but I can't afford to cheat. Every piece of chocolate, soda, anything off program is $85 to me. I have found when I think of it that way, I no longer want that temptation. Now, I don't know if that will work tomorrow for me, but so far it has worked everyday. Have that desire for the end result more than the desire for that temptation. Stay strong and be proud of what you are committing to. You are worth it!!

Hey Claustin! I too am getting bored. I put 2C spinach in a blender with the pre made peach mango, a little crushed ice and hit blend. It was so stinking good and will definitely buy me a few more days of lunches since it is quick and easy. Pre make some, throw into a freezer mason jar and grab one out in the morning and it's good for lunch. I know it's not super exciting but like I said, it's quick and good and I get my veggies in without making another dreaded salad. Quite frankly, I get sick of chewing!!
