I make the "zucchini apples" too but I'm lazy and cook them in the microwave

Slice 2 cups zucchini into half moon shapes, put in a dish with a splash of lemon juice, stevia and cinnamon. Heat for 5 minutes until soft, stir and enjoy!

The lemon juice helps create a delicious, gooey syrup in the bottom of the dish!

The longer you let it steep the stronger the results. I would try it at 15 minutes to start with and work your way up to a longer time. Don't want an explosion right off the bat...LOL

With this, I am officially past my halfway mark to MY goal weight! YEAHHHHH : I want 135 lbs, they want me at 125 lbs! We'll see.

6 pounds away from my next 3 goals which are all at same weight.
1. to weigh 170 lbs
2. To be out of obese category
3. To weigh less than I did when I got married 25 years ago on May 21st.

I know I can, I know I can, I know I can.... six pounds. It's so doable.

Have a great week everyone.
Congratulations! That wonderful!!

Hi All! This is my first time posting although I have been reading posts for a couple of weeks. I'm so happy to find this forum! This is my second time on IP. The first time I lost 23 pounds, then had some family stress, stopped the program and gained everything back. I'm back on now for 5 weeks and have lost 14 pounds (have at least 40 to go). A little slower than the first time but I am still happy with the results and am feeling so much healthier!

The other day I was trying to talk myself into having something off plan and I came to this site and realized it wasn't worth it! Everyone's successes are SOOOOO motivating! Thank you all for sharing!!

Thats awesome you got right back on the horse! sounds like you have been very successful! I hope everything goes well for you!

I am on my second week and am really anxious about my check-in tomorrow. I weighed myself at my grandma's house and it said I gained two lbs although I have been following the program. Maybe it was the scale? I am just nervous about gaining weight only in my second week.

Today is day 2 for me. Yesterday was really tough, had a headache all day and just felt exhausted. I feel better today. I find that the foods really aren't that bad and reading here I see that everyone kind of comes up with their own interesting recipes and things. That will definitely keep from being bored OP. Weigh in is on Thursday for me. I really hope i'm down a bunch.

Every scale is different, I wouldn't worry about it one bit, I also wouldn't weigh in between (my personal opinion, just not sure why people drive themselves crazy by jumping on scales more than once a day. Not saying that's you but others post about weighing themselves like five times in just a few minutes.) Remember along with every scale being different your weight fluctuates as a normal course of business not only throughout the day but from day to day.

WI # 14 today and was down another 2 pounds! That's a total of 35.6 all together. Every week I just get that much more faith that I can do this and I worth the effort, Things I was told numerous times before I couldn't or would never do. Working on believing that the best revenge is proving them all wrong!!

Have an excellent OP day and remember to smile and give lots of hugs!

Waterdog- Hang in there! You'll be so successful and proud of yourself.

Way too many people to list by name: WOW!!! You have had some amazing WIs and NSVs. I fully agree that this site really helps keep me motivates. I am so amazed, impressed, and inspired by each and every one of you.

My clinic is in a medical clinic. We are required to be monitored by an in-house doctor, which was actually the main reason I chose IP (high cholesterol and had gallbladder removed). Today, I went in for my check-up, and because my previous cholesterol numbers were high, we did more bloodwork today. Even though it has only been a little over six weeks, I hope the numbers improved.
Bonus- I missed my weigh-in last week, and I'm not due until Thursday. But since he uses the exact same scale as my coach, I'm taking my new number. I am officially 20 pounds down! I went shopping at the outlet mall with a ton of coupons (that I shared with this cute group of ladies who seriously thought I was some crazy con artist when I offered them the coupons). I kept myself under control, because I have 15 or so more pounds to go. But, I love a good bargain, and new clothes for the same price as the resale shop down the street... I could not pass that up.

Don't worry! You will be down a bunch. The first week was the greatest loss for me!

Haha, this is me.

I weigh myself around 3x in the morning, within minutes, but that is more a factor of having had a bad scale previously (which gave a wide variance each time I weighed myself). I'm not expecting the scale to change, more so just checking that my scale is giving a consistent weight. I also am pretty unemotional about it, it's more a check in that I haven't mysteriously gained a huge amount of weight. I agree that your body weight fluctuates all day and all week.

Do you have better results typically with liquid packets? Have been wondering that myself and if should cut back on the bars??

I just felt the need to get myself back on track after I overdid it with the exercise. I ended up not losing much at all this week, so I thought I'd try out just the lower calorie liquids and up my water intake. It seems to have done the trick. I'm losing again! I had Syntrax nectars as my 3 packets. Love 'em!
