MFP is a GREAT tool for accountability!

I REALLY thought you just hadn't entered everything.
We do the best we can daily, don't we?

Good luck!
Be happy with whatever the scale says.
Expectations can sometimes be hard to live up to.

I am on week 3 and the first few days were rough. I was SO skeptical that it would get easier. No other diet I had ever been on had ever gotten "easier" as time went on. What has worked for me is trying all the recipes you can find on this site and the Finland Facebook site. At first I thought was going to be very boring eating the same thing over and over. But I have really enjoyed some of the foods I tried and my friends just laugh at me when I tell them my new favorite foods are roasted cauliflower or rutabaga fries Today for lunch I am roasting broccoli, mushrooms, cauliflower and zucchini and then mixing it with the rotini and a bit of olive oil / vinegar and lemon. I am also adding 2 oz of chicken chopped up. I find eating a little protein at lunch makes you not as hungry at 3:00pm.

If you like chocolate, make the dark chocolate pudding into a smoothy with 5 oz of water and a cup of ice. It stays thick like putting and makes a large cup. My dessert almost every night.

Hope this helps. Just survive the first week!

And I try hard not to care about the scale so much. I am more concerned about the inches lost and the way my clothes looks on, but it is still very nice to see smaller numbers on the scale. Helps to keep going. I know I have something gone because I can see it. I have been about a year and a half on my own, eating healthy and exercising and I got myself down from the 170's to the 130's then magically I appeared back at the 150's!! Don't know how or when it happened but I'm there again. This time around I thought I would try IP to see if it would help me keep it off and change my eating habits. We will see I guess.

I tried two new food preparations today. Faux baked apples and cauliflower rice. I was skeptical but both were great. The cauliflower rice was a couscous texture. Delicious.

Thanks Texan! I think I'll try the morning tomorrow for late afternoon arrival! I've never done it before, just wanted to know how it works.

That's awesome!!! Ketosis!!! Ketosis!!! I am going to chant that too!

I think my dish is called faux baked apples. Thinly sliced 1/2 a zucchini sauteed in a pan with a spray of olive oil and WF caramel sauce poured over. Delicious warm. If you don't have caramel sauce add vanilla essence, splenda and cinnamon, maybe nutmeg. A great snack for the hungries.
