So glad to stumble on this thread- as of this week I'm on my last 10 lbs. it is getting hard and many of you have talked about it- I have never weighed less than 190 my entire adult life so am pretty thrilled with how I look now. Not stopping till i hit that goal--and considering going to 155.... Was hoping to be at goal by Christmas but am averaging between 1-2 lbs per week now so we will see what happens!!

Welcome, Sugar! You are doing such a great job! I'm thinking I may drop my goal down to 155 or so too. Not sure yet, but we'll see as I get closer.

Congrats, Sonya! Of course muscle weighs more than fat, so you did great this past week with adding in the exercise!
part of me wants to lose 5 pounds in the next 3 weeks and go on to p2
the saner part understands it will be more like 1 to 2 pounds a week.
I am wearing a size 2 pants but my muffin top is huge. most of my loss now will come from the tummy, which is not healthy, so i want to get rid of and then my boobs

let's get the last pounds off of us!
I wanna be a size 2 when I grow up......lol!!!! Seems like my boobs are the FIRST thing to go.....this tummy is the LAST thing....so tire of the "dunlap syndrome".....whenever I sit, my skin dun-laps over the waist of my jeans!

Good luck on those 5 pounds! You can do it! I want to lose 3+ pounds a week too. Probably won't be that much either, but a girl can hope.
My stomach is still large too. If it weren't, then I could wear 1 or 2 sizes smaller in the pants department. My chest is larger also. When I was at my old size 8 self for a bit (not that long), I was much smaller in the chest and waist area area. I hope to get like that again, but we'll see. I can't wait to really start weight lifting again to help things. Now I'm just walking a lot.

Oh, to be a size 2. Never in my life and never will, I don't think. I'm too tall, and my bone structure, just is a little large for that. But then a size 2 isn't the same size as it used to be. So there is that hope.
And my stomach does the same thing. So tired of it too!
18 left to go...seems like it is taking forever but it's actually only been 6 weeks (today). I do find myself straying a bit...Wasabi Peas why did I ever discover you???
Challenging week - 0lb loss, TOM is due and I'm dealing with a little C....but on a brighter note I went shopping at Kohl's today and bought a pair of size 12 RED PANTS! Woot! I had pretty much convinced myself that I could fit into my old size 12's because I had stretched them out a little before. No more fooling myself now, the 12's I got today were fresh off the rack
tightwad, love wasabi peas, and i know what you mean about cheats here and there. i try so hard to be 100% op
scorbett congrats on the size 12's. i like your attitude on the 0 loss. i had that this week and i have started measuring my meat, i didnt before. i am shooting for 100% op, i know you already have that down pat. tom and c will do that to us. i started weighing myself daily since wednesday, going to put a stop to that. just going to do the right thing and the results will follow.

You're doing great! I am kind of an all-or-nothing person, and for a long time it was "nothing" when it came to trying to lose weight. But once I got the kick in the pants I needed I was all-in. I take so much comfort in reading this site, sharing our struggles, knowing that whatever happens I'm not alone - someone before me has been there and beaten the challenges! You will too!
Scorbett, congrats on the new pant size!!! What a GREAT feeling to try on smaller sizes and they actually fit - I LOVE that feeling - more than chocolate!
This week I am officially down to 15 more lbs to go
But, my belly and I are still in absolute turmoil....I REALLY want it to leave and my belly seems quite determined to stay
My fingers, calves, boobs, etc are all smaller than when I weighed 125 10 years ago, but my stomach is so much bigger!! So frustrating.
Any ideas? Light core training; yoga or pilates?? Swimming, inversion table for 8 hours a day to stretch out??
Anyways, don't get me wrong....much happier without the extra weight that I've ditched...just trying to convince my belly to move on- or just move- to my boobs (the top part, not the saggy part)

AMEN! After 2 c-sections, weight gain, and going through Menopause, my tummy is stubborn, and hanging on and around for dear life! The boobs are DEFINITELY smaller, as my wonderful daughter pointed out, but the tummy, well......
I too am thicker in the tummy than 6 years ago when I was this weight. Of course then I was swimming and jogging and Pilate-ing, so I wonder if some of this is just because I haven't exercised in years and everything is just soft. Only one way to find out - ugh!
