Default Cheat day !

Six weeks into this ( 31 pounds down 19 to go) and i am wondering about this incredible future event called a cheat day... Now i need some maintainers to help me out. Does it mean go for broke ? like all my old standby's on one day, donuts, chocolate, ice cream, garlic bread w cheese, DQ, Steak and Shake, ? I can't see that working , so opinions please, my 'coach" told me eat great for 5 days and eat what you want for the other two... Signed Confused in Canada

Hi, It's a "free" day. When it's kept to one day it really works. I stretched it to 1 1/2 days too many times and put back on 5 -7 pounds so now I'm doing a mini reboot to lose it (meaning I'm in P1 for a couple of weeks and then phasing off).

But, yes, you can go all out. After one or two "all outs" you'll realize you really don't want all the food you once ate. My eating habits have changed (for the better). At chinese restaurants I get steamed dumplings and am satisfied and before it would be fried everything (crab rangoon, general tsos, chicken fingers etc).

Have fun when you get to have "fun"! You may want to post this in the "maintainers' thread. You're likely to get more responses.

Cheat day??? I missed something somewhere!! I am only on week 5, but I have never heard it mentioned on here before. Is this something that is maybe an "unspoken" freebie to do very occasionally??

It is a free day you get in Phase 4 after you have reached goal and phased into maintenance for life. IP does NOT work in Phase 1 with cheating.
