Default I'm back

Awesome pictures, usmcvet!!

Just want to say hi! I'm back from my 2 week vacation in New York City and then a driving trip to Cleveland and the Adirondacks. I stayed OP the entire time and lost 4.2 pounds on my WI yesterday! Yippee!!!

There were a lot of challenges. In NY you can't leave stuff in a car; you carry it with you, so I had to carry with me rtds, bars, etc. I often ate half of my meat protein for lunch and half for dinner, then had 2 snacks a day, but only one restricted. (an extra drink, for example)

Anyway, it's over, I'm back here on the forum, and back to work. And back in my own kitchen where I can cook my IP OP foods to my heart's delight. Last night I made salmon and rutabaga fries! AH!! Home!!!

Hi to all and congrats on your losses! IP Rocks!

Nice job on vaca! We are planning to be in NYC for a few days in October (Comic Con weekend - woo!) and I've already started thinking about how to stay OP while we're there, whether I should bring extra restricted for the show days (lots of walking and being on my feet all day) and having to CARRY it all! Good idea splitting the proteins, I can get smaller lunches and we usually do dinner at my brother's apartment to save $$.

Hi everyone, had WI 3 today and lost 2.2 lbs! A smaller loss, but I'll tale the best party about this WI is that I've lost another 2.5" off my hips! That's 7" in just 3 weeks!!

I tell you one thing I've learned to appreciate about IP is the inches you lose!!! I'm so grateful for IP and it's exciting o see others doing so well on it!

I started off only using EAS drinks for the first month and I lost 15 lbs. i still use them mostly. I only use IP products if I need to break up the monotony.

Hellllooo everyone! Still on my working-vacation. I had to have an extra packet 2 days due to all of the lifting, moving, painting I have been doing. If I haven't lost any inches off my thighs from all of this up and down the ladder I will cry!

My MIL is not making things easy for me. I swear she is purposely baking brownies and s$@t to tempt me. There is NO WAY I am giving in. I am not going to fail. She felt sorry for me cuz I couldn't enjoy a glass of wine with them on the patio but the joke was on her! I saved my strawberry wafer bars and a sparkling glass of MIO to enjoy! HA! She had no idea the bliss I was in with my wafers!!! no wi-fi so I cant get on my support system 3fc sites like I want to. I just wanted to say that even though my in laws are not supportive and making this hard, I AM STIL 100% OP!

Congratulations.

Sometimes it's fun to be so contrary. Keep it up and don't give in. You've got the right mindset.

You'll have healthy numbers within the next 6 months, I'm positive.

I'm trying to get my meal planning straightened out - once upon a time I had every week planned to the letter, and would bulk cook for the freezer to have stuff on hand. I feel like I finally have a handle on the packet planning for each week (love my ziploc bags!) but the meal planning has been a bit more of a challenge. I work 3pm-11pm four nights a week, I can plan around the 3 meals I'm home for but I keep getting stuck making sure the boys and hubby have something good planned for my work nights and I'm not constantly relying on the hospital cafeteria. I know it's going to get more challenging once school starts up so I need to COWBOY UP and just make it a habit now!
you have alot on your plate and the hours must be trying. Couldn't your husband make dinner for himself and the boys? "Necessity is the mother of invention"

That's great Anna. Didn't you think it wasn't going to be that good? (or am I confusing you w/ someone else?)

That's great! You are building up your discipline and you are much more likely to keep the weight off long term/forever because of your discipline. Great job!

Inches, inches, inches!! Waist down to 34, chest down 1 inch, hips down an inch, chest down 1 inch.

Best part of today is finding out my Visceral Fat is down to 11. I'm not really sure what that means, but it is a lot better then when it started at 16. Coach said that it was really good. The scale she uses calculates your 'body age' When I started it said I had the body of a 55 year old. I'm 40!! Today, it said I had a 'body age' of 40!! I'm in a much better mood now.
JW. You're sooooo close to goal! Keep up the good work. You're making it work. I'm 40 too!

Hope everyone else is having a great week.!!!!

Didn't even voyage into the plus size section as kohls!! Makes me want to stay OP!!

Does anyone mix the alternatives with IP? The cost is starting to get to me and I thought about doing 2 IP packets and one EAS shake.

Hope you are all having a great day!!

Hope everyone had a great day!
