Newbie day 15

Rainbow,

I have printed and tried some of your recipes and they are delicious!

I have a couple of questions (if you don't mind. I am still a rookie at this)

1 I tried to make zuchinni chips last night for lunch today. They came out of the oven crispy. I left them uncovered in the baking sheet on the kitchen counter last night. They were all soggy this am. Can you make these in advance? How do you store them?

2 Where do you buy a Magic Bullet and ring for English Muffins?

3 Where did you find Coconut Oil Spray?

I appreciate any help you can provide!

Thank you,

Cheryl

I bought my English muffin rings on Amazon.com. $5.00 for four. Coconut spray/oil can be purchased at Whole Foods or any health food store, but you can also buy that on Amazon as well as the magic bullet

i have NOT had ANY success in making zucchini or squash chips and keeping them crunchy over night. I always eat them immediately for the best potato chip like crunch. i do not have a dehydrator so perhaps a dehydrator might solve that problem.

2 Where do you buy a Magic Bullet and ring for English Muffins?

i bought my magic bullet from bed bath and beyond and my english muffin rings on ebay

3 Where did you find Coconut Oil Spray?

i bought the coconut spray on amazon

I appreciate any help you can provide!

Thank you,

Cheryl

Could you please tell us which recipes you added in - maybe by page number so that those of us who have 'made' a hard copy book can print off only those pages that were updated??

Just a suggestion!
TIA,
Lorette

:hungry: RiCH, DECADENT, CREAMY, CHEESY....DELiCiOUS!! :hungry:

MiRACLE LASAGNA!!!!

Why did I call it MIRACLE LASAGNA???
Because you use MIRACLE NOODLES!!!

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7131/7...d2cc2510dc.jpg

http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8424/7...c373c2e5fc.jpg

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7136/7...f7a6b7b678.jpg

first....open and rinse your shirataki noodles...
YES....they smell fishy...rinse them well!!!

http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8294/7...aeb675c61a.jpg

then dump them onto some clean paper towels....and blot dry
http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7276/7...915b58c1bf.jpg

blot dry with another paper towel on top

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7113/7...1539bc6dc6.jpg

next...dry your noodles in a DRY pan over medium heat
for about 3 mins. set aside on a plate to COOL.

http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8426/7...93c3408fbe.jpg

get out the spices of your choice...this is what i used!

http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8281/7...343060b94f.jpg

i also used egg whites, shallots and veggie shreds

http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8288/7...c7e013e05a.jpg

add 4 tbsp egg whites into your magic bullet or other mixer

http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8436/7...24d36082e2.jpg

give it a quick whirrr until slightly frothy!!

http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8444/7...a10ca0495f.jpg

add your COOLED dry shirataki noodles

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7273/7...36fd777c45.jpg

add the spices of your choice...i added 1/2 - 1 tsp of just about everything
you add to your on taste :)
i showed in the photo!!! plus my sea salt!!

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7257/7...f53cb4b33d.jpg

blend until all the noodles are well blended!!

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7138/7...3507e063fa.jpg

add 1 bag of IP SOUTHWEST CHEESE PUFFS into a baggie

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7109/7...e64bc69223.jpg

take your rolling pin and crush them fine!!

http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8290/7...342ff534e0.jpg

add them into your shirataki noodle mixture

http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8423/7...208fd5f47c.jpg

mix well, batter will be thick!
just LOOK at all that SPICY GOODNESS!!!

http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8296/7...4202041e4a.jpg

http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8171/8...c94d4771_z.jpg

spread out your "dough" onto your pizza pan lined with parchment paper that you spray lightly with cooking spray....

then use another piece of parchment paper, spray it lightly as well, and
place on top and gently spread it out to about 1/8 inch thickness
peel the paper off gently

http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8321/8...b0623406_z.jpg

what i did next was to take a knife and make a prefect rectangle...
and placed the extra "dough" on top and spread it out smooth.

http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8300/8...469e3ddf_z.jpg

then i took a pizza cutter and scored it into long
strips like lasagna noodles!!!

now you are ready to bake!!!
bake at 450 degrees for about 15-18 mins
or until crispy browned!!!

http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8180/8...203e2642_z.jpg

it comes out nice a toasty!!

http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8460/8...e2b3eb17_z.jpg

then i cut in half for 6 MIRACLE LASAGNA NOODLES!!!

....be right back with the rest of the instructions!!

Look at the front cover and tell me what is the Updated Date and time. I can figure out from that what I've added and tell you what pages.

As for the future, when I update it, I will let people know what I added and what pages.

Thanks for the suggestions. That will only make it better.

Molly
