  • Quote: Well, after a super frustrating week of zero movement on the scale, yesterday I somehow dropped 3# and another half overnight...weird. WI #5 today and officially 3# and 4" so Im still pretty happy with that.

Total to date, 25# and 23.5" so Im still averaging 5# a week, just some weeks are better than others LOL

NSV, finally had to break down and buy some new shorts as my normal ones keep falling off haha, not a pretty sight. Another observation I have now made, I cannot use my clothes to judge my weight. 36" waist for me still fits, but very loose, and still fit when I was 25# heavier!!! Thats a bit too much of a cushion lol
    Awesome!!! Way to go!
I've found I can just barely get into and button my size 36's. But better than the 42/44 I wore 2 years ago.

  • Quote: Awesome loss and NSV. I need a new bathing suit too. It will not stay on unless tied super tight.
Thanks so much, wow you pics are looking good, I cant beleive in another post you had mentioned that some people hadnt noticed yet, looking good!

Thank you also. I put on 34's today easily, didnt have to suck in LOL, but man its been over 12 years since Ive owned anything in a 34, so a bit excited about that. Funny all my shirts are too long now, Ive always worn XL and accused my wife that she must be shrinking them as they were always so short haha, now they are hanging to my knees...

  • Quote: Between your success and My Dentist's I figured it would be worth a shot.

I've lost a lot of self-confidence over the years as I've gotten bigger and it would be very nice to feel like my old self again.

You and I can have a beer eventually right?
God I hope so. For now we can have a nice cold chocolate IP shake.

You've found the right program! I know what you mean about confidence. I think I'm a year or more from goal so the brew will have to wait. For me.
  • Maybe we can all get together for a beer when this is over...Hmmm, wont be more than a 3 day drive LOL
  • You're only 7-8 hours from me, lol. Surprisingly enough a beer hasn't sounded good since about day 4 on IP. Have weigh in early in the AM, hopefully the scale goes down a few more ticks.

Where in Montana are you? We are down there lots!

And I have to agree, alcohol has been about the only thing that I HAVENT missed. And well, you guys dont even have real beer LOL so I can see not having an issue with US beer haha...Actually we buy most of our booze and beer in MT so I drink it too...

LOL, I've heard the same about Canadian beer! Our house is in Billings, I travel the western half of MT and WY during the week.

Our beer and your beer taste the same...but ours has alcohol in it LOL. Its always fun to have Americans up here, most of you guys can kill a dozen beers, and after about 5 of ours your on your face LOL.

Dang, we dont do Billings much, we used to fly out of there but now we go to Great Falls for all our flights, and Kalispell for most of our shopping and holidays, and ski in Whitefish every winter. We run to Havre once or twice a month for shopping and groceries. Clothes and food is soooo much cheaper down there.

What do you do that you travel so much? Sound like a sales rep?

I'd love to come your way some time. Do you hunt? I have not in years, it's been too hard to get around in the woods.

And Thorfinn we can still hang out and have a drink we will just make it a black GMCR coffee! Still manly!
  • WI last night and another 3.8lbs. gone.

I don't miss the beer that much but I do miss my Crown

Looks like we have some Men kicking IP A.. this week

I bet I fall on my face after one when I get done with IP!

You caught me, I'm a dreaded salesman. I am in the Mailing Equipment industry and manage all the western region Sales. I am in Kalispell or Missoula 1-2 times per month. And travel to Great Falls about the same, I don't have Havre anymore but do drive through from time to time. We might go up to Edmonton late summer. I have to get my kids Passport cards to get them across the border first though.
  • WI #2 done... another 6.6#'s and 2.5".

So 12" and 22.6#'s gone forever!!

  • I just had to pop in here and say how PROUD I am of all of you MEN!!...It takes a lot of courage to come to terms with getting healthier. Y'all are KILLING this program with the losses. I am glad y'all made this thread to come to talk to each other. USMC, The way you are going you MIGHT be on the program for a little over a year. I have now been on it for 14 months and loss 162lbs but you are like tripling my losses, lol... Y'all just keeping sticking to it 100% and y'all will be at goal in no time. Ok, I'll shut up before I get all emotional on y'all....Be proud of taking control of your lives
  • Thanks Wuv. I expect to be doing this for as long as it takes. I know after a year the difference will be huge what ever it is.
