I'm located in Ontario, about a two hour drive NE of Toronto. I've ended up getting things from a few different places. Dr. Bernsteins was one of them. I also found several things at Doctors Best Weight Loss, which is in the USA as well but had significantly lower shopping costs than Nashua, at least to where I am in Ontario.
I also found things like soy nuts and a few other products which seem plan appropriate at The Low Carb Grocery Store (which is located near Toronto). I also bought all my WF products from them. One day while shopping in Shoppers Drug Mart I happened to notice they sold ProtiLife Peanut Butter bars which match well when compared with the equivalent IP bar label. They are good, and I'll definitely get them again. ProtiLife offers the standard run of products as well, and you can order them from their Canadian online store.
These websites all give the nutritional data and the label for the products... I just compared the IP nutritional/label details with those given for the alternate products I was considering. Mine aren't necessarily always 'exact' replacements, but do fit the criteria closely - and I am losing weight, so they seem to be working. I lost 6.6 lbs on my first WI (which was last Wednesday), and when I gave in to curiosity yesterday and stepped on the scale it showed another 2.5 lb loss. I'm trying to only weight myself once per week to avoid being frustrated by any daily fluctuations through the week - and my 'formal at-home' WI will be done on Wednesday.
At Dr. Bernstein's, they have the exact same ready-to-drink vanilla and chocolate shakes as IP (6 for $12), as well as the same Vanilla Peanut bars (7for $16).
Has anyone used the Lean Muscle drinks from GNC - here are the stats let me know if it sounds OK
170 calories, total fat 6g, total carb 6g, sugars 2g, protein 25g, 0 transfat
They have a sale on them buy a case of 12 and get 2nd case for 1/2 price (so they would cost less than $2. each).
I was looking everywhere for this thread! I am moving to Alternatives now that I am in Phase 4 and wanted to get the list of "identical alternatives". Placing my order now!
I'll have to check the box when I get home - but I am 99% sure that the Proti-Diet white cheddar snacks are EXACTLY the same as the IP ones. Same silver space packaging, same stamp on the outside of the bag with "best by" date. Good thing too because they are my FAVORITE!
Thanks, Lisa. Still not what I mean. I'm kind of laughing at how difficult this is for me to explain. I'm not giving up. Imagine an actual IP product in actual IP packaging. Then take that same bar and that same packaging and imagine that the manufacturer, instead of sending it off to be put in an IP box, sends it off to Nashua Nutrition for them to sell under one of their labels. And then we buy it from Nashua Nutrition for less money. It is the SAME product, it is just sold by a different company. Make sense? Some of the Maintainers have found a few of these products (IP products sold under another label) on the market. I just thought it would be great if we could use our collective experience with Nashua, Lindora, etc. and see if we can identify them.
I got you the first time. I'm told the premiere nutrition choco and vanilla shakes at Costco are exactly the same as the IP RTD shakes, quantity is slightly more, thus the nutritional breakdown may appear different.
Ok so I just went through this thread and compiled a list. Thought I'd share for anyone else who wants EXACT copys of IP products sold under an other name. I haven't tried these yet so I'm just going off what was posted. let me know if I missed any.

I compared the nutritional stats and they arent the same for the Snackergy. the quantity may be different, but they arent exactly the same.

I didn't think so. The same person mentioned the protithin vanilla peanut bars in the same post so I thought they understood what we were looking for. The only one I am 100% sure of is the van peanut bars because they used the same pic on both sites.
Hello to my fellow Canadians - which sites do you use for delivery in Canada. I would like to order Proti-thin and Healthsmart Protein products for alternatives, but don't want to fork out the $30+ for shipping from the US?
proteinwell.ca I just got my order from Nashua and it was 76 with 30 shipping and no customs fees were added whoot Woot
