Alternative products that are the SAME as IP products
I'd like us to compile a list of alternative products that we believe are the SAME as IP products. Not similar, the same. Many posters have reported receiving products from Nashua, etc. that are packaged the same as IP products and appear to be identical. Please include the alternative product name, the vendor and the IP product name.

Thanks Rissimo and Mom3...but that's not really what I'm talking about. I'm not talking about comparable products. I'm talking about products that appear to be the SAME as Ideal Protein products, just sold under a different label. Recently on Maintainers, posters have shared that the following products from Nashua Nutrition appear to be exactly the SAME as IP products:
Proti-thin sea salt and vinegar soy snacks Snackergy BBQ zippers. Proti-thin Vanilla peanut bars that are identical to IP vanilla peanut bars Any other examples? I thought it would be helpful to everyone to compile a list. |

This is a sheet that I have, it compares the IP food to alternatives but list them as they are the same. Look at it and see if this is what you are looking for...Lisa

I just got my first box but as far as I can tell Proti-Thin soy chocolate puffs

Thanks, Lisa. Still not what I mean. I'm kind of laughing at how difficult this is for me to explain. I'm not giving up. Imagine an actual IP product in actual IP packaging. Then take that same bar and that same packaging and imagine that the manufacturer, instead of sending it off to be put in an IP box, sends it off to Nashua Nutrition for them to sell under one of their labels. And then we buy it from Nashua Nutrition for less money. It is the SAME product, it is just sold by a different company. Make sense? Some of the Maintainers have found a few of these products (IP products sold under another label) on the market. I just thought it would be great if we could use our collective experience with Nashua, Lindora, etc. and see if we can identify them.

Esammy Thank you!!
|
why don't you compare the nutritional info from the the alternative list (I think it is in the stickies somewhere) against the IP nutritional info?
|
The Chocolate Soy Puffs, Vanilla Peanut Bars, and Chocolate Peanut Bars all from Proti - Thin.
|
The nutritional facts may be the same on many of the products, however, some of the ingredients may not be the same. This might make a difference for some people. Just an FYI.
