The taste will get better, promise! Have you tried the chocolate soy balls? They're DELICIOUS!

Funny I just had a proti-thin bar, chocolate caramel and all I could think was how much better the IP bar was.

Yeah, they're not all identical. I love the IP cappuccino and the Proti Thin one is good but not the same. If you're looking for a treat though look into the Proti Diet Wafers. They're AMAZING, IMO better than any of the IP restricteds. They're a little higher in fat than most IP products, but I almost always have a lean white fish or eggs for my dinner protein so I am okay with that. I probably wouldn't have them everyday or when I was having beef or pork since those are fattier.

It seems the difference is in having a coach. IMHO, this forum brings support and accountability.
what soups do you have??? Also what brand are you using??? Are the bars yummy? Im so picky its hard for me to find things to eat that are OP however I am 24 days strong

Hi all, I heard so much about using (Premier Nutrition Protein ) RTD drinks sold at Costco ,being used as an alternative , my question is can a person follow IP protocol using 3 of these drinks a day , for breakfast ,lunch and dinner , of course with the salads and all vitamins and Cal_Mag, and Potassium,etc.. from IP
Knowing that there is a 30g of protein in each drink , is this too much protein to have 3 times a day ??
I appreciate any help

Has anyone found a chocolate drink mix that is as yummy as the IP chocolate drink mix (hot chocolate)? I've tried a few, but the IP one is by far the best tasting. I'd love to find an alternative.

I use these. I wouldn't be concerned about the amount of protein but they are higher in calories than the other drinks. I guess it would depend upon what else you are eating in a day.

There has been times when I have to get with her later in the week to get my other items. We spend about 10 minutes together and that is about it. She asks me how my week went and the few times I have asked questions, she doesn't know or said she needs to read more to find out. I don't hear from her during the week at all unless I contact her. So, my point is, I really get all my support from the boards. But, the one thing that holds me accountable is the weigh in and measurements. That is the one piece that I look forward to because I love to see the numbers going down!

That is a good idea. I was thinking of printing out the nutritional info for the IP products so I could compare. It may be a good idea to start out with a few products to have on hand.
I have discovered the nutritional info sheet is not entirely correct. Some calorie and sodium counts don't match up to the boxes. Maybe they have changed some items since it was published.

Thanks. I changed last Costco trip to the light Muscle Milk. It tastes really good when cold. It is near the Premier Drinks in the pharmacy section.

It has 100 colories a drink but only half the protein of the Premier drinks. I'm still not sure what is the best option, more protein with more calories or less protein with less calories.

I'm not sure which one I'll pick up next time. I do know I do best on lots of protein.

I just picked up the light Muscle Milk today at the store and keeping them on hand just in case.

Thanks for the ideas and your thoughts on this question to all!
