You're doing great! I wouldn't worry too much how many carbs are in the meat, rather just make sure it's not a fatty meat and it's within the amount of oz. we are allowed each day. I have to admit I hardly ever weigh my protein, but rather eye ball it for size.

This is the first diet I have ever been able to stick to for this long too. IP is very restrictive, but such an easy diet at the same time too.

We all dread the stalls and weigh slow downs...and we all know they are inevitable. Well, after missing two "official" weigh-ins and seeing my at home scale in a stagnant state I got on this morning it read moved! It said 176.5! I couldn't believe it...I can't wait for my "official" weigh-in but for now I will relish what my scale says!!!

I have a "girls day" with some friends tomorrow, and there's now way to avoid going out to lunch. Any suggestions for what to order? Salad and chicken w/no dressing or something like that? The only other time I've eaten out on IP, I had a steak and broccoli from Applebees. The other issue is I'm not sure where we're going to eat - could be Italian, could be a seafood place, could be P.F. Chang's. I think I'd be okay at the first two, but I have no idea what I would get at P.F. Chang's. Time to google some restaurant menus!

Today is my IP birthday, I've been clean from sugar for 10 months today!

...made a 'no sugar added' pulled pork today. I LOVE pulled pork and decided to take a crack at making it from scratch rather than the club house packet (as it has sugar).

I put it in the recipe thread.

I was in heaven, seriously it's been over 10 months since I had pulled pork. I miss it...now I can have it. IP has re-taught me to cook, I'm always looking for something that I might have eaten a year ago, but in a healthier way. I feel so empowered tonight.

Yahooooooo!!!!! I'm back on track! I lost 7.5 lbs this week. I am almost certain the past two-three weeks I was in and out of ketosis. Now it is very obvious I am in ketosis again.

And - I've already reached my half-way goal. I am now 26 pounds lighter than I was just seven weeks ago. I really can't believe it. This is the best I've felt (emotionally and physically) since starting IP.

I talked to my friends that I'm having a girls day with tomorrow, and we are going to Mongolian BBQ for lunch. Cannot wait - I'll be able to eat a salad (already mixed my own dressing) and pick out my own veggies, meats, oil and spices.

Plus we are going shopping, and I'm so excited to buy some new clothes!

Please have your blood pressure checked. I don't know if you are on any BP meds but this can be a sign of low blood pressure. Hope you feel better soon.
