Yvette, You are doing fantastic. You look great, it will be slow going now that you are down in weight. I am phasing off and will start back after the holidays. I am so glad that I am, I feel so much better on phase 3 and I am losing, tomorrow is official WI and it looks to be down almost 2 lbs this week. Keep up the good work
I am also enjoying phase 3, though my stomach isn't... girggles and gassy, but I will just have to figure out which foods are doing it and switch things up. Even though I am not at my goal I am proud I made it to phase 3 and that this is a good thing. Bella congrats I am glad to hear you are still losing in phase 3 there is hope for me. Yvette you are doing so good, and with all your traveling you are doing great. Your sister is doing great too...

Good afternoon everyone, congrats on all of the loses! Such great motivation. I haven't been on in quite some time. I started IP in May and lost 42 pounds by September. I took a few months off for my brother's wedding and vacation. Now I am trying to get back into the swing of things. I cant tell you hard it has been, I am sure you all know. Today is my second day OP and I plan on going through the holidays OP as well. It's funny (stupid!), I know how well the program works and even phasing off, I maintained for a while and even lost a little, so it's kind of like, what are you waiting for! I loved the feeling of losing and having to move down in sizes of clothes, I can't wait to have it again moving forward. I need this site to motivate me and also to keep me accountable. I appreciate everyone here for doing that for me

I had my orange drink for breakfast, 2 glasses of water. I just finished a large salad with peppers, mushrooms. cucumbers and WF dressing. And IP chicken soup. My normal size lunch. I also had 2 glasses of tea. I am still hungry. WHY. I am finishing up week 4.
Any ideas? I am wondering if I am PMS-ing and that is cause hormone changes. I am 100% on plan and just don't get it.

Hope all is well with everyone, I have been scarce of the boards lately, really busy, but enjoying phase III alot! I just like burping and farting and being all regular again, it amazes me that just one serving of greek yogurt and 1 serving of berries has me feeling so much better than I did on ph1 &2, not that I felt bad, but definitely had digestive issues. Hope it is not TMI, but I know others have had some issues and I am here to tell you that phase 3 is just wonderless

Thanks everyone for the encouragement. When i weighed in i dropped 1 lb but i lost 3.5 inches so i was very encouraged by that. Next week, for sure i am hitting onderland!!!!!!

Not sure what is going on with me, but I feel like I'm in a diet funk the last two days. I just started my 8th week, so maybe this is like the 7 year itch or something. Don't get me wrong, not going to cheat, no way no how. I think it's more like kind of a let down from all of the social whirlwind that was going on in our lives last week. I usually don't feel like an emotional eater, but this week I can say I feel like that. Oh well, I'm positive this funky mood will pass soon. Time to pull out my new IP cookbook!
In the meantime major cleaning out of my closet today and getting rid of a bunch of clothes. I was at a store yesterday buying a new sweater (old one too big) as the weather is starting to get cooler here in Austin, finally. I looked at myself in the mirror and realized I really need to get rid of the jeans I was wearing. Looked way too baggy saggy on me. Not a good look at all. I have one 20 size jeans that still fit fine, so I'll just keep on washing and wearing the same pants till they are too big. I have size 18's in the closet and they are still a drop too tight. I would rather have only one pair of pants and keep washing them rather than spend money on pants that won't hopefully last too long. I have a big walk in closet that I'm thinking is going to look pretty bare by the time I get done with it today. Good thing I don't work out of the house, otherwise I might have a clothes issue.

Good Day Everyone! Havent been on here in a while now! Work has been so insanely stressful with our Fiscal Year End! Bu am super happy bc the worst is over now.
I have been on diet for about a month now. Have only lost 10 lbs, and am starting to think somewhere i must be doing something wrong, it seems so little in comparison to everyone elses weight losses.
Altho, i think i have lost about 20 inches off my body, i just wish things would move a little faster is all!
Glad to hear everyone is doing well tho! It inspires and encourages, me - I just have to figure out how i can change it up a bit and move this weight loss along a bit faster!
My little sister is getting marriend in March, so im really hoping i can lose a good chunk before then.
My ex bf will be at wedding with his gorgeous wife! oh the joys!
20 inches in a month and you are complaining, I know other women would love to have lost 20 inches in a month.
The weight will come off, we all have our slow week, I only had 1 to weeks ago, usually when you have a low week or 2 you bounce back the next.
You have 4 more months, that is plenty of time to lose most of the weight you want.
Just make sure you stick to the plan and don't cheat at all, the little things can hurt you when you would thing they wouldn't.
Especially artificial sweeteners, make sure you aren't using anything that has aspertine etc.
Like Crystal light and not the ones made with splenda.
Just keep positive, you have plenty of time to get yourself ready to try and make you ex squirm.
Remember though, the main reason has to be for yourself.

Nervous about an outing that I have to go to tomorrow night. It is a fundraiser dinner with a buffet. I asked what would be on it and the only answer I got back so far was "some type of chicken" and salad. Obviously that is not all they will have and I am worried about what will be on both the chicken and salad. I am working the fundraiser all afternoon, so have to remember to take my snack and big water jug. I will just have to do my best at dinner and kind of "wing it". I do know this event is known for it's fabulous desserts and that there is going to be a dessert auction too. NOT going near that stuff!! I did not volunteer to make a dessert for auction either as I don't need that type of temptation! I do so much better when I can just stay in my own little plain meat, steamed veggies and salad bubble!
You will be just fine....You have very good wings to wing it .....you know what you have to do and remember its a fund raiser and not a eat food raiser...haha....Mingle with the people and think of all the money you are helping raise. YOU CAN get through this and just think how you feel knowing you got through it with your wings held high

Would you mind sharing what your eating consist of in a day and maybe we can chime in and suggest some things to help you out. 10lbs is great and 20inches is awesome so you are doing something right!!...just because the scale isn't moving doesn't mean you are losing "something" somewhere!!
Ok, I have to say that yesterday was a day I have only dreamed of for so many years. Yesterday afternoon I decided to go get something to "reward" myself for the huge accomplishment I have done so I went for a pair of earrings, figured I couldn't lose weight in my earlobes...lol....Didn't find anything that I liked so I went to Stein Mart, where I worked for 15 years and was NEVER able to fit into the clothes there. My friend said go check out the clearance stuff its going to be 40%off this weekend. So off to the clearance racks I go, straight to the size 3x, I am thinking I should be able to fit in them now. I find a few shirts and head to the dressing room. Put the first one on....TOO BIG!!!....I am like no way so I try on another one....TOO BIG again....I am like No freaking way I am in a 2x. So I call out to my friend that works there and say...HEY I need a 2x!!!....she said WHAT?? no way...that is what I wear!!....I said I know....just go get me one....Y'all, I fit in a 2x!!!!!.....I cried in the dressing room!!.....I FIT IN STEIN MART CLOTHES...this is HUGE for me. Needless to say I found 3 shirt that were $5.95 THEN on Saturday they will be 40%off SOOOO I will be getting 3 new shirts. SUPER excited!!....Then she tells me all of the collegiate stuff is going to be 30%off and I am thinking ok let me check it out...I am an LSU fan and she said Lisa you have to try this on...it was a 2x LSU vintage looking hoodie...I put it on...YES!!!....I am so going to rock that hoodie!!!....I can't wear it though when my youngest is in town cuz he goes to MSU...haha..I will get a MSU long sleeve shirt to wear when he is home!!....Just wanted to share....
I have a question for the more experienced IPers. This week started my thrid week on IP and I have returned to my 3x a week Curves workout. The only thing my coach said was to start out my workouts at just 60%, nothing about adding a protein pack which I have read alot of people on this site say to do. All of that to ask....would it be okay for me to add a 4oz grilled, skinless chicken breast to my normal salad of iceberg and mixed greens?
