Good Morning. I am really struggling lately, I haven't cheated per say but I know that I have been eating too much and things like that. Extra packets and too many pieces of gum, things I know I shouldn't be doing. Throwing all gum packets away today. I've discovered they create cravings like NO OTHER. Today is weigh in, its not looking likely to be a change of any but who knows how it will end up. I feel like I am wanting to phase out but know that I won't be happy with 140 on the scale when I gain for glycogen stores. I want it to say 135 in maintenance which is why I'm trying to get to 130.

Oh and wind gusts of 55mph today with mostly cloudy and a chance of rain. Very typical day for this time of year on the SD prairie. blah! Going to make the best of it. Will also have nothing to wear to stay warm but how can I be mad about that ?

Thanks for listening to my ramblings. Shooting for 100% OP Day with no gum and no more than 3 packets! I Can do this!!!!!!

Wildflower: Good luck today. You can do this!!!! You have done so well and lost 46 pounds!!! It does seem to get really hard as you are at goal or are like you trying to go under goal to get ready for Phase 3. Are you on Phase 1 or 2?

My winter wardrobe is looking pretty sketchy also.Like you this is good news because we can't fit our old clothes.

Sounds like a good plan to throw out the gum packets. Drink lots of water.

Good luck today on your WI.

Good morning everyone. The good news is that my BMI is now in the normal category. This is so nice as I was in the Obese category.
However, thank goodness the test does not pinch my stomach. It is not in the normal category..but in the pleasantly diminished category and needs serious work!
Have a wonderful OP day today.

Bummed today! I was down 1 lb from last week as of yesterday and now this morning I am up .2 from last week. WTH? I've done nothing different so I know it's not me. Like I menioned yesterday, tom is on the way sometime this weekend so I think that may have something to do with it. I woke up with a serious headache and can hardly function yet. Hoping that goes away soon as I promised my girls I'd take them to their cousins volleyball game tonight and if I went home from work I wouldn't be able to do that.

On a positive note, my daughter's had summer dance in the morning and then their teacher went on maternity leave so I haven't seen her in a while. LAst night she pulled me aside so mention how good I looked and asked how much weight I've lost. I said almost 40lbs and she said, "Since when? I feel horrible for not noticing sooner." I said, "I just started June 23rd." Then she felt better since she hadn't seen me but couldn't believe I'd lost that much that fast. She is losing 1lb every 2 or 3 days nursing and living on desert so I'm a little jealous. She said she can't stomach regular food and gets sick at the sight of it but ate 6 monster cookies for dinner the other night. That is NOT something you tell someone not eating sugar! She is genuinely upset about not being able to eat though so she wasn't throwing it in my face. It was nice to get a compliment since all I've gotten lately is being whispered about.

Thank you so much! I have been doing some PH1 and some PH2, back and forth. I spent literally hours organizing my PH3 breakfast plan and I honestly think it made me get ahead of myself thinking of all the food I will get to eat in the future but I just need to focus on the present and keep taking this one day at a time like I was.

Good morning!! I've changed my WI for this morning and I'm really excited. It's amazing how the scale moves (or doesn't sometimes). All week I've been hovering right around what I WI at last week, but this morning I'm down 2 lbs. We'll just have to wait and see how it is when I get there. After last week I know my body has been through a lot so I'm going to be very grateful for any loss!

Hopefully after this week I can WI on a regular day. I'm hoping to do Wednesdays but this week I would have had to bring both kids which would not be as easy!

You've done so wonderfully with the program, I know you can do it! The only time I allow myself gum is when I'm in the car or cooking the family dinner because those are my two really bad triggers for munching. Otherwise I agree it just makes you crave more!

I'm sure your TOM has something to do with it. I haven't faced that yet on this diet, but I know it can mess with you! And congrats on the good compliments, I know you needed them!!

Good morning everyone! You are now "talking" to the newest soccer coach for 5 and 6 year olds. I'm scared! J/K. I really don't know very much about soccer, but I love sports and am super competetive. I just have to make sure I wrestle that competetive monster down and keep him from surfacing around the little ones. I coached my son's t-ball team this past spring and seeing photos of myself on FB by some of the parents capturing their precious babies playing ball is the MAIN reason I started IP. I didn't realize I as that fat until I saw those photos. Well, I'm down at least 27 lbs since then, so maybe seeing photos of myself on Facebook won't be so traumatic. We have a meeting tonight and I'm so excited. Can't wait to start! And, my 5 year old is pumped up about it!

I can relate to seeing "fat" photos of myself and knowing that I had to do something to get the weight off. We went to my daughter's graduation in CA in June and when I looked at all the digital photos I couldn't believe how fat I was. She also took me to Ross's to buy a new suit for her commissioning Sunday and I had to buy a size 18 suit. So when I got home I had a check in the mail from school for not using my personal days so I made an appt. with my IP coach and started June 21st. That is the same day my daughter and her family of 5 arrived! I basically made their meals and stayed OP the whole time. I have given away that size 18 suit!

Good morning, home today, my poor daughter has been battling fever since sunday afternoon and is having muscle pain and soreness, headache and is all stuffed up dh stayed home with her yesterday but couldn't today.

so i went to loblaws to get her some popsicles and since i needed new salad dressing (got the french one to try since someone said it wasn't bad) i started looking in the same isle (cosher food isle) for other WF products and fell in WF heaven!!! they had sooo many things, mashmallow dip, caramel dip, caramel and chocolate syrup, apple butter, spreads (strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, grape), i didn't know what to choose. So i was undecided between the caramel dip or syrup but saw that it shows that the caramel syrup is good in coffee so that's what i picked and so glad i haven't had my coffee yet, lol.

I know for those in the US its nothing but for those in Canada, especially Quebec, its so rare that we have all this cool stuff!

***EDIT just tried putting the caramel syrup in my coffee and its super delicious.

Good morning everyone,

I see your struggles and I am so happy that we have this site to share about our feelings and frustrations. I want to send you all some positive waves as I know that you can do it, you all have done wonderful losing weight and committed to be a healthier person, don't give up, life is full of struggles but we can conquer every obstacle on our way.

Today, I lost what I've gained from my cheat, pretty quickly this time since I've cheated on Sunday and we are only Tuesday! This coming Thursday will be my 12th week on IP and I hope I would be hitting officially the Minus 40 pounds! 3 whole months! WOW for me! I never stuck to a program for this long I think... never ever.... I mean yes, I've cheated on some occasions, but went back on track and I am still losing weight.

Last night, I got my package from Nashua and even though I called the duty to see if I would be charged for whatever and they told me no, not for food, once my mom received the package, they asked her to pay $26.30! That was an unpleasant surprise, but still, I calculated what I bought + taxes + duty and it equalled about $47 a week worth of food, which is still way less than what I've been paying the real IP food.

Today, I had the blueberry pancake from Protidiet, and it was so yummy, I loved it, it made the apartment smell so good.

It is starting to get chilli in here, as I went through my wardrobe today, I was moving the summer clothes away, I found an old jean that was my favorite at a time, it was hidden there since I was not able to wear it, too tight, so I thought to myself that by now it might fit, once I put it on, I discovered that it was even loose on me now! Isn't that amazing? I wore it anyway, and got some compliments at work from my colleagues.

I love losing weight, I cannot wait to be in onderland and to be on target.

Good luck with your weight loss journey everyone.

Hi,

Thanks for letting me know that we can find WF at Loblaws I live in Montréal, Québec and I can find some WF dressing and Ketchup at a local supermarket called Adonis, other than this, I did not find them anywhere yet, so I will sure check at Loblaws, hope to find them here as well.

This is exactly why I started the program too -- FB photos. I knew how big I had gotten, but stopped weighing myself and was only looking at body parts, not at the whole picture.
