Well I ended up getting a pedi! but just a couple days later I am not suffing from a pretty NASTY ingrown toenail.. I will spare you all the details!)

My mom also took me shopping to get a new purse and wallet for losing 30lbs... now this morning I told her that I had lost 50 now... I dont think she believed me so I had to send her a pic of the scale this morning! It even had my pretty toes in it!

As a reward for reaching goal (almost), I just bought a discount (half off) for a full three hour keratin treatment for my hair. The timing was perfect and I've been interested in trying one for months.

Of course, it goes without saying that I am in the market for new pants (I need to buy tighter pants so that I don't have room to regain!).

Love this thread. I think for me is will be an actual weight on the scale. I think when I hit 225 pounds I will treat myself to a facial.

I would love to go back to Las Vegas when I reach goal. My hubby and some friends went last January and it was a little(no alot) heartbreaking to not be able to zip line over Freemont Street because I was too heavy. Shopping with the girls would be way more fun the 2nd time around too.

This is another one I thought might be interesting to some of the newbies it was way down in the threads but gives you a few suggestion how some of us reward ourselves with our losses

Hi, I am a restarter, but I already have my rewards set up for each time I loss 10lbs.

First 10lbs: get my nails done.
Second 10lbs: buy some nice clothes in my new size.
Third 10lbs: get a complete "hair makeover"

* I've been very depressed ever since I started gaining weight again, and after not being sucessfull at my other retries, I figured out that seting up rewards would help me continue and reach my goals, they give me motivation to keep going!

I bought a fashion magazine as well to look up brand names and see what's hot Then went to the thift stores and looked for some brand name clothes @ cheap prices I even got a pair of Gasoline jeans which I can fit in now. Yahoooo
I know name brands and labels don't mean anything. I have just been fat for so long and have no fashion sense excpet for sweat pants and sweat tops, beer shirts and elastic band waisted pants. Now I can get into a pair of pants with zippers

HI, Junetwin it feels amazing when you are able to fit into the clothes you really like, and when you realize that buying brand names clothes is worth it on your new body, you begin to dress according with what you look and feel now. Good luck to you.

Finished Rewards:
First 10 pounds lost: Haircut and perm
Next 5 pounds lost: new jeans from NY&Co. (ok so this was both a reward and a definite need)

Upcoming Goals:
5 pounds (total 20): A pair of red heels
5 pounds (total 25, at goal): Spa day! And of course a shopping spree for new clothes

I think the hardest part of coming up with rewards was finding things that weren't food! I lost five pounds, I'd really like some ice cream! New jeans had to do :-P
