Welcome Kindanuts, glad to see that you survived all of the issues with breast cancer and are now on your way to get healthy. You can lose those next 70lbs, just put your mind to it. What are you doing little cheats with? Is there something else, IP wise you could use?

I've been tasting things I cook for my husband. (In the beginning i was giving him the same food that I made for myself but he's so thin and getting thinner so I have to add carbs for him.) I know I just need to stop tasting his food...and hopefully by just admitting it I will. I just need to plan better and have legal snacks to eat while preparing food. He prepares breakfast and lunch so It's not like I have constant temptation. You're right I just have to put my mind to it. I really don't want to live the rest of my life fat. Life is short

Maybe you could have chopped veggies there for you to snack on while cooking, etc cukes, bell peppers, pickles. Just something you can grab when you think about it. Just a few suggestions :)

Hey guys today is my second day on IP and I have to admit I'm feeling pretty good! I am currently 146 and am looking to get to 120. I was wondering how fast people lost weight on this diet. Is it possible for me to loose 16 pounds in 2 months? And also for any maintainers, has it been hard to keep off the weight?

It is very possible to lose that in 2 months. But since you are close to your goal sometimes its takes a little longer. Everyone loses differently. You might want to ask in the Maintainers thread about keeping off the weight instead of here.

Welcome back to getting healthy and finishing off your journey. But just so the newbies know that this program works, I have a couple of questions for you....

1. did you phase off properly?
2. did you follow the a planned diet or did you just eat what you wanted?

I am not asking this to be mean or anything, I don't want to see anyone get discouraged because you gained your weight plus 2. At least you are back at it :)

Very good questions! I did NOT phase out properly. I had the mind set that I accomplished my "goal" of looking good at my brother-in-law's wedding and not my "real" goal of being and living a healthy lifestyle. While I was on the plan I was very strict. I was able to keep most of it off until June because I was exercising and watching what I ate. After June however, I hit the I dont care button and the weight has been climbing since. Now that I know I can do it and know how good I felt, I will be able to continue on with the success.:)

Well at least you got the I DON"T care out of your system now and are back to getting the job done correctly this time. Thank you for answering the questions honestly, I appreciated that. Just wanted to let the newbies know how it is in the real world IF you have that attitude. :)

Hello everyone, Im 30 yrs old, Im on day 2 on IP. My starting weight was 267. Im 5'8. I gained 100 lbs in 8 yrs and it has really affected my life. I was aboit to get a gastric sleeve when I came across this program. I figured I would give it a try....

Its been ok so far. You know, im Not very hungry, Im just very thirsty. Dont know how normal that is. Im really looking forward to loosing at least 95 lbs asap. Still trying to get used to the flavors, so far the vanilla pudding was no good! Lol Do I really HAVE to eat soooooo much lettuce???? Its starting to make me gag. Well good luck to you all and im so glad i found this!

Welcome to the boards! this program works in 22weeks I have loss 80lbs. Have you tried adding flavoring to the vanilla pudding? like an extract or sugarfree D'vincy syrups, it makes a difference. Honestly the lettuce is a filler and helps things to keep moving. I honestly don't eat lettuce everyday. I always have water on me at all times, if i go out I carry it around like its my purse....lol...If you have questions just ask

New here and also to IP

Hi-Hope it is o.k. if I just jump in. I have been reading this forum all week and have been inspired, found new recipes, and gained a lot of new ideas.

I am a 44 year old wife and mother. My husband and I have been married 20 years and have 2 sons, ages 17 and 14.

I had my original weigh-in at the IP clinic on Thursday-Sept 22nd and began the program last Monday, Sept. 26th. This afternoon will be my first official weigh-in (1 week +1 day) and then each Tuesday following. I am excited to see my results. I have had a great week of NO cheats! This is huge for me as usually I would at least have a bite, taste or nibble of things when dieting in the past-especially at social events and cooking/baking for my family.

I am lucky to know several people including a few very close friends who have successful done IP and provide daily personal support to me.

My phase I (90%) is to lose 27 pounds. My set goal at this time (I really won't know until I get there or close to it) is 30 pounds. Here's hoping for a good weigh-in.

Good morning everyone. My name's Dianne. I am a 34 yr old SAHM to 4 great kids, 1boy 14 and 3 girls 12,8 and 7. I've been married to the love of my life for almost 15 years. He's a welder in the oilfield so he's only home 1 week out of the month which is sometimes a little hard,

I started this program after seeing my friend lose almost 100lbs and was amazed at how good she looked and how much energy she had. I wasnt to be here for my family and decised to give it a go.

I've been on this since Sept 26 and feel amazing already. who knew eating lots was good for you. :)

Here's to everyones continued success!!!
