thansk wuv- adding my reviews here:

I ordered a WHOLE bunch of stuff from the website recently. Its the same cost and you can find coupon codes if you google. They shipped out very quickly.

Sesame Ginger Dressing- I LOVE IT
Italian Dressing- I bought this in the packets to keep in my purse and I love.
Bacon Ranch- I really like this one- I add a little to my potato puree and it tastes fab
Ranch- I don't like this flavor. It's just gross to me, but some love it.
Ranch Dip- Just a thicker version of the aforementioned.
Caramel Syrup- I like this. You dont need much and I use it on the crepe, in the choc drink, in my vanilla shake w coffee. It's a good one to have on hand
Ketchup- Mehhh. It tastes even more artificial than regular ketchup.

I added a small amount of vinegar to the raspberry vinaigrette and thought taste improved dramatically.

I've used the choc syrup in my spinach smoothies and hot chocolate to boost the chocolate flavor. I have the caramel "dip" which i love. I've spread it on pancakes and the muffins and I like a spoonful of it in my hot chocolate!

I have/have tried;
Thick and Spicy BBQ sauce = love it
Regular BBQ sauce = ok
Ranch Mayo = good
Chipotle Mayo = good
Ranch Dressing = not good but edible
Chipotle Ranch = with added minced jalapeņos excellent
Amazing Mayo = haven't tried yet
Blueberry syrup = LOVE
Strawberry syrup = LOVE LOVE
Caramel syrup = omg..LOVE (it does taste like butterscotch, but I love that too)
Chocolate syrup = Love
I use the syrups with pancakes, in puddings and in coffee and shakes.

My favorite site for WF products is www.netrition.com . Their shipping is always $4.95 and it arrives very quickly.

Thanks, that's good to know! I always paid at least $9.00 or more for shipping at Walden Farms. I think it goes by the number of items. $4.95 is great, I will go there from now on. Every penny saved....

Default Wf

i use the mayo is salad dressings and as a thickener, the pancake syrup is okay and the italian dressing makes a decent marinade base but other than that i cant tolerate the aftertaste of most WF products.

Thumbs up Walden Farms

Thanks for your post on the site you use for Walden Farms: My favorite site for WF products is www.netrition.com . Their shipping is always $4.95 and it arrives very quickly.

I just went there and the dressings and many other items are on sale for $3.79. With the $4.95 for shipping, this is a steal.

Default WF likes and some ideas

Phase III breakfast idea for WF Caramel Dip:

6 oz plain or vanilla (vanilla has more sugar) nonfat greek yogurt.

(FYI: Fred Meyer stores have a store brand vanilla nonfat greek yogurt that is sweetened with stevia (yay); that's what I use. Nutritional info: 110 cals, 10grams carbs, 9 grams sugar, which is not too bad for flavored yogurt, and 14 grams protein. I think Ralph's stores have something similar in their brand as well.)

1-2 tablespoons of WF caramel sauce

1/2 cup strawberries

1 tbsp of slivered almonds (I use roasted unsalted)

Stir WF caramel sauce into yogurt until blended, add strawberries and slivered almonds. Tastes like total decadence...to me, anyway.

Also like:
WF 1000 Island dressing, especially in the Big Mac in a Bowl.
WF Chocolate Sauce, in my shakes or my coffee
WF Chocolate Dip, instead of WF Caramel, used in yogurt suggestion above
WF Alfredo Sauce: I use this to make a kind of tuna casserole with pouch albacore tuna, mushrooms, broccoli slaw, season with black pepper, and I add sriracha (sp?) sauce to it for a kick.
WF Asian Sauce: good as a salad dressing or in stir fry
WF Spicy BBQ sauce: very good, have mixed with WF bacon ranch salad dressing, looks not so good, but the BBQ sauce definitely improves the flavor of the bacon ranch dressing.

I watch the Top Chef show a lot. You made a kind of mole sauce (pronounced mo-lay). It's a gravy with chocolate in it. I've never made one, but Top Chef Rick Bayless is famous for it, the Chef's love it. You go girl!

Thanks for sharing that Cyndie, didn't know that there was such a combination out like that already. I guess people eat bacon and chocolate together so, this was minor. lol

This thread is great... I personally don't despise any of the products that I've tried with Walden Farms so I guess maybe I'm one of the few lucky ones lol. But I am super excited I opened this thread because I saw the big mac in a bowl recipe and I'm going to be having that for dinner tonight... and I'm excited about it haha. Thanks!!
