Not me. I latched onto the guidance of living your life, checking your weight a couple times a week, noting if your clothes get too tight, and taking corrective action if necessary. Separate carbs and fats per the protocol, and experiment... see what your body does when you do certain things. You'll work out what's best for you.

Okay. I lied... I still weigh daily. But the rest is legit.

    Me neither.
  • Ok so I am a fitday loser..... mine works out to be about 1500 - 1800 per day depending on how many snacks I have, usually 2, fruit or pickles or cheese or nuts or ip bar or shake, biggest meal I have is still brekky, lean protein & green for lunch, usually a slow carb & protein for supper but I dont always have meat with dinner I may just have veggies and brown pasta or rice and then have a protein as a snack, I will also eat more if I work out hard (extra protein) afterwards.... sorry just reread I try to get in 80-100gr protein in a day, I will have to go check my fitday for carbs and fat, I just generally keep those low, my main goal is to continue to get enough protein I find if I dont I crave sugars and carbs, yes I am a carbaholic.... been pretty clean for 6 months and counting
  • Well, I'm moving to phase 3 tomorrow. I've dropped 5 pounds on phase 2 but still didn't manage to make it to my goal. My decision to phase up is more due to how I look now than anything else. While I'd definitely love to weigh a solid 145, Ive started seeing a few too many bones poke through when I look in the mirror. Also, I am a comfortable size 6 for the first time ever and because of my height and build I don't want to be a size 4 I feel like that would be too small especially since I have an hour glass shape...my waist would be crazy tiny in a 4. So all of that to try to tell myself it's ok I didn't make it to the goal weight and i keep reminding myself that I'm tiny now even if the scale doesn't say what I wanted. Anyway, I read the sticky life after phase 1 thread yesterday instead of reading for my classes (I'm in grad school at American University's School of International Service). I really wanted to get through all of that info before moving to phase 3. And I'm very glad I did. I will be doing some grocery shopping today to prepare for tomorrow. I'm sooooo excited! Thanks to all of you regular posters you are such an inspiration and show me that this program does really work and I can make it work for me too. Wish me luck!

Let your body tell you what's right! Believe me, I wasn't shooting for a size 4... I just finally found out that my hips aren't that big! Without the belly and the butt (which is now great instead of great big), I'm quite trim.

So congrats on your brilliant results, and enjoy the big breakfast!

And BTW, I just hired a Presidential Management Fellow who graduated from American last spring with her law degree. She's awesome... that's a great school!
  • Had my first weigh in tonight since transitioning to Phase 2 last Thursday and am down 1.4 lbs. I'm now 1.2 lbs away from my goal, which should hopefully come off this week. So excited! The land of yummy breakfasts awaits me in Phase 3...only another week to go!! Can't believe that I've lost over 40 lbs and 40 inches in 4 months...thank you IP!!

That is AWESOME! Enjoy the next days on Phase 2. I'll be drooling over here reading about your first big breakfast!
