Now - a strange question for this bright group of ladies (and men). I have the stiffest neck the past two days-- wondering if it is related to all the soy in this diet. It seems to hurt more every time I have a vanilla drink. Right side of my neck and partially down my back. Has anyone had this happen to them??? Love this diet and want to feel good on it. Thanks for your help.[/QUOTE]
My neck has been stiff too, never really thought it was related to the diet but now that you mentioned it it only started once I started the diet.
Hi i am new to learning how to use this site. all of the info on here about ideal protein is amazing. I have a meeting on monday to hopefully start losing the pounds i am carrying around. i am bringing two friends with me so we can all do this together. wish me luck! this all sounds amazing .
Is Prepared yellow mustard okay? It has no calories, no carbs, no sugar. Vinegar, tumeric, mustard seed, paprika, garlic powder salt and natural flavors.

Sometimes we take an extra potassium to help with the muscle cramps and stiffness- alot of us got the okay from our doctors= it helps, and remember your salt for muscle cramping and your water those three things are essential. I'm not sure about the soy... maybe something else I can look into after I catch up on my posts- an interesting idea, tho, Vicjul.

Actually that is my quote from page 3 that Vicjul was copying to say she had the same problem. I know you are great at research MuayThai Goddess. I have tried to find out more online but really haven't come up with much. My neck pain is really annoying and getting worse. I just feel it's related to something I am eating!! And since we are only having IP, protein and vegetables, I think it must be the IP.I am drinking all the water and doing the salt. One potassium a day because my doctor said not to do two.

MuayThaiGoddess - Have you tried your ISOPURE yet? Let us know how it tastes! I have been reading body builder reviews. Some of the body builders say it tastes great, others say its horrible, but most just say "man up you sissy its protein" hahaha!! But since we can't add fruit or mix it with milk I'd like to hear your opinion.
ISOPure looks really good nutritionally and $$$-lly.
The Zero Carb Powders have~
210 Calories
0g Total Carbs
50g Protein
Each 3lb canister has 21 servings. But based on that nutritional profile you'd only need 1/2 a serving to adequately replace IP. I'm seeing these at the Vitamin Shoppe website for ~$35/canister (or $0.83/"meal"). It looks like they also sell it in larger containers.
$0.83 is quite a difference from $4. Maybe I'll take the bodybuilder's advice and just suck it up and try it.
I did try the zero carb isopure in creamy vanilla and it was really yummy- and i have never seen a protein dissolve so easily into water just mixing it with a spoon- its pretty cool- it was delicious. and was fine with my ketosis and everything. i paid alot more for the 3lbs at GNC - like $80 which is still less per meal-like 2 dollars but if i stick with it I will be looking for it on line for sure! thanks for the info on that!!
Also at GNC i found some small ready to drink botttles of zero carb isopure in fruit punch, icy orange, and blue raspberry. I have tried these and I find they aren't as tasty but taste alot better if you put it in a glasss with ice cubes and mix it with some cold water. Each bottle has 40 grams of protein and it kind of reminds me of drinking kool-aid. I got them for 75% off because they were going to expire in may!! So check those expiration dates. so it was about a dollar a bottle before tax- which is like 50 cents a meal- ha! not bad for changing it up.
The zero carb isopure is the only thing i have tried outside of IP because it seems sooo close label wise- and it doesn't hinder my ketosis. in my opinion i would think it would be a good substitute, but thats just an opinion- i don't know it for sure. There aren't any studies on IP and isopure- LOL!

HA -thanks for the compliment- I'm up for the challenge- later on tonight I'll see what I can come up- with- as far as I know soy is really really good for women- i think like the third best food we can eat but things can change on different diets so ill see if I can come up with something after I have a chance to write back to sparkles.
Hello, All. I went for my third week WI today and I'm only down 1.5 pounds. In the past 3 three weeks, I've only lost 2 inches altogether. Does this mean that all of weight loss (15 lbs) has been water weight? I was hoping to at least lose 2 pounds last week, and I have to admit that I'm kind of down in the dumps about it. I know I should be grateful for what I have lost, but I'm confused as to why I'm not losing the inches that so many others are. Up until now, I haven't done any exercise. Would adding exercise help me or hinder me at this point? It blows my mind that I can be so diligent with my diet and not have a bigger loss. . . am I just being a big whiner? Feel free to give me your two cents worth. . . I'm open to all thoughts and suggestions.
Thanks MuayThaiGoddess and sorry HopefulTricia, I am new at this. Curious to know what you find out. I may actually email my coach as she is a Holistic doctor so she may have some idea.
