I'm sorry it took me awhile to reply. I needed to find a thread that I remember another Canadian had created about your topic.

Here is what little I know about where some have found products.

Default Light Headed

Day 20 and really getting into the groove, but woke up light headed. Anyone hear of this on IP. It's not normal for me so wonder if it's IP related.

I did get stuck out last night and didn't get vitamins until I got home, so took them with night time snack vitamins. Maybe too much (4) Cal-Mag at same time?

it is possibly your blood pressure changing. it is a common thing that happens, as is dizziness, with this diet. have you been taking your salt? Try having a little more sea salt today.

Many people have reports of momentary dizziness. You might try asking about this in the daily chat for more responses.

No problem. Let me know if you land up ordering from there and I'll also let you know if Claudia does the same and how her experience is. Yeah...I noticed the products were cheaper there to. That is unusual given the exchange these days and the health products seem to always be more expensive in Europe. Go figure!

For the site in France. I use google chrome for my browser and was easily able to translate the pages in the website into English. Makes navigating a lot lot easier. Just a thought

So...at the end of the day (meaning phase 4) does anyone have a ballpark figure of how many carbs we can safely be eating in a day to maintain our weight goal. Given that we're all different and some of us will burn faster or slower and be sensitive to this and that. Is there a range that one should be looking at when counting?
Just thinking cuz I think having a ballpark number in my head will help me feel like I have some kind of guideline, which is so organized in ph 1 and for the most part in ph2. It's 3 and 4 where I"m getting that old free for all feeling...and that AIN'T gonna cut it, cuz left to my own devices I will make all kinds of s**t up. Know what I mean???

I can't possibly imagine what you mean, having never been there myself, she said, with a failing sigh and a hand to her brow.

If I were a stronger person I'd go take a typical Phase 4 day and add up the carbs. But I did that for Phases 2 an 3 when my coach suggested I go that direction. It scared me sh-- witless and back into 1 faster than I could write this sentence.

But if you're adventurous, here's the tool you need to figure it out. ://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/foodcomp/search/ And if you come up with a figure, and share it, that might be less painful than doing it myself.

sunnymae I've read -- not in IP documents -- that a guidance range for weight maintenance is 100-150 g carbohydrates per day. You could start with that and make adjustments to find what works best for you.

If you want to have carbs at every meal, another recommendation I've seen is to
- have about 20-30 grams of starchy carbohydrates (grains, tubers, corms) at every meal,
- keep to the low sugar fruits (berries) if you want fruit on a regular basis
- have lots of other vegetables (including roots and squashes)
- keep your protein levels around what you're eating on IP, maybe a little more because IP stuff is more "bioavailable"
- find the level of healthy fats that keeps you satiated and easily maintaining your weight.
You could use that as a starting point and "tweak" to optimize for your goals, life, and body.

I had this listed in a different thread, but was asked if I could post them here. This should help those that are doing the program on their own without a coach.

i will be starting IP for like the 3rd time...I attempted before and I just get too hungry and bored with ideas and I crash and burn by the beginning of the thrid day. im not creative and im in my car most of the day. This time I want to be successful.. I think I just need to get past first three days...any suggestions to keep me focused? Also , the food tends to upset my gut.

Hey. Why don't you move this to the daily thread to get more responses? And could you be specific about what you mean by "food"? IP packets, drinks? Some particular ones or all of them? Is it the "food" that is the real culprit, or could it be something else? The more specific you can be, the more we can try to help you. And are you taking all the supplements?

TMI Question! I do apologize.

I have been having *ahem* loose stool for days now. It started on Saturday but happened every once in awhile last week after I started the diet. I don't eat any extra greens, just the 4 cups of veggies a day and I am wondering why this is happening. I assumed my body must be getting used to the diet but I am getting rather sick of it now. Is it all the water? Should I add some "ruffage"? Has anyone experienced this? Please tell me it gets better!

Any help is appreciated.
