As long as a you aren't cheating, the number will come down!

I met with my physician for my final approval. The class will have about 20 people in it.

I have lifted weights before. I just always give up. I feel wword doing them. I'm big into cardio. I know weight lifting is necessary though.

Hey weight naturally fluctuates. It will keep going don't worry about the little ups. Yay for building weight and glad to hear you are planning for the future so that you can overcome those weakspots and they will no longer be a problem

Day 20: I had my offical weigh-in at the clinic and I'm 222.8 My scale was telling me that I wasn't losing anything at all. So, my nutritionist made one of my goals to not get on the scale every single day. Only every 3 days. That is kind of a relief. I was getting so depressed!!

Day 21: I'm not allowed to weigh in every single day - so I have no weight change to report. I'm finally, after THREE whole weeks, starting to feel a difference in my clothes. That is so rewarding! No one is really noticing yet, but I'm sure the next 10-15 lbs will make a difference. The weight training that I'm doing at the gym is helping my body to tighten up and shrink faster than just doing cardio. My thighs are smaller, my arms are smaller...feels really good. I'm excited to move close and closer to my goal every single day!

Day 22: My accountability partner from Canada hit her first goal this morning! So proud of her!! For those of you looking for a forum or something else other than this one to be a part of, I joined a great group on facebook and found an accountability partner. She and I touch base throughout the day as needed.
Here is the link to join: https://www.facebook.com/groups/385746181556835/

It is only for people who are doing optifast - so you don't have to surf through a million conversations of other types of diets - it is all about Optifast! You can find an accountability partner - and follow hundreds of others doing the program. I have found it really great and motivational. All types of tips, and recipes to make with your shakes if you get bored. Even a bread that is NOT cheating! Go join -I will see you there!

Day 25: Still no weigh in yet and I have a terrible confession. I ate almost an entire jar of pickles. All it took was seeing "0 calories" on the label and down they went! Man oh man were they good! So good. I'm just hoping it doesn't stall my progress or reflect badly on the scale when I finally get back on it Wednesday.

I had a really difficult weekend. It was a quiet weekend, I was bored a lot (which is a HUGE trigger for me). I babysat my 5 month old nephew which didn't allow me to do all things I would have normally done. I missed the gym two days in a row. OYE!

I did stumble across these amazing little gifts at the grocery store called, "Swanson - Flavor Infused Broths." We are allowed to have chicken or beef broth in addition to our shakes. I just tried my first one. "Thai Ginger." Soooo stinkin' good. It is a little hot and spicey. I loved it and the best part is that it is not cheating. Every day around 3pm I seem to crash. It is the hardest part of the day for me. If I don't figure out a way to get through the 3pm dulldrums than I'm going to cheat! So, having a nice cup of broth with my shake helps so much. Maybe a few pickles too!

Day 26: Final Day. I found out I'm pregnant and they are putting my program "on hold". So...this is me signing off for at least 9 months, god willing. Life has a funny way of spicing things up for you when you least expect it. Wish me luck!

Unfortunately, I lost the baby on Feb. 1. So, I'm back in the program - today is my third day back. I only gained six pounds since 12/16 which isn't bad for me. I've already lost 2.5 of what I gained. So I'm at 226.5. I refuse to change my ticker back up to 226.5!
